Waiting in line always takes too long (you should either buy the tickets in advance or come at least 30 minutes earlier) and trains sometimes have big delays even though this is the first station. The place is not clean enough and it sometimes smells really bad. It is also not a very safe place as a lot of shady people wander around.

We arrived at midday and planned to depart at 2.30PM for Mogoșoaia (as stated on the timetable), and we were directed to the ticket office. There was ONE person working there, a very rude woman who was very slow. After queueing for nearly 30 minutes, I asked her for x2 return tickets to Mogoșoaia, both in Romanian and in English. She shouted at me in front of everyone when I could not understand her Romanian and gave her too much change, and SHE SOLD US ONE-WAY TICKETS FROM MOGOȘOAIA TO BUCHAREST. WHY would I want to only buy a ticket TO Bucharest when I am ALREADY IN Bucharest??? Will I magically fly to Mogoșoaia, stay there for less than 2 hours and then take the train home? We just took an Uber to Mogoșoaia, our driver told us to never take a train for short distances because they are so badly run.

cu siguranță o stație frumoasă, plină de istorie și echipată. trenurile care pleacă de aici vă vor conduce pe întreg teritoriul României și în multe locuri chiar și în afara. rușine despre zonă deoarece există atât de mulți țigani.
