Biggest rail station in Romania, a lot of people will find this place old, dirty, full of street people or awful, but, I may have only 16 years old, but I find this place a location were I can escape reality and be in my world, and I don't know why, if you saw my photos, you will understand why I find this place nice, maybe beautifull for me. Well, this is my decision to what to describe and see this place.

Cea mai mare gară din RO.Dar ar fi fost șmecher să nu fi fost gară terminus.Acolo dacă ai ceva bănuți la tine,stai o zi întreagă.

Dirty and unkept station, with very few means of spending time inside the premises. The station is full of rubbish and trains often are delayed or cancelled. The train tracks are also tilted on one side causing the train to slightly tilt the wrong way which makes it harder to climb off the train. Ticket prices are very reasonable with a normal 2nd class adult ticket to Iasi at around 22€ and 1st class at 35€. The train station has a McDonalds, a small minimarket, and a few stands selling newspapers. As you get off the train with a lot of luggage remember to look for a man with a shopping trolly. They are very easy to find. They will charge 2 lei (45 euro cents) to deliver your luggage to the parking which is 3 lei which is almost 1€. Parking ticket is valid for up to 1.5 hours. Try to avoid this station, even if its the only one.

As a tourist you have to be careful not to fall victim to the scam of the guy who pretends to help you and then asks for money, just like any other train station. Other than that, there are reasonable facilities like a Subway and McDonalds to fill up on before a trip.

Lipsa aerului condiționat face grea așteptarea trenului pe timpul verii. În rest, se stie: dale stricate și ieșite din tipar- troler-ul aluneca greu și cetățenii au toate șansele sa-si rupă gatul, zugraveala care sta sa cada, mizerie și un automat pt bilete care funcționează doar cu cardul.

Un sfert din viata mi-o petrec pe aici. Fascinanta gara. Cand eram mica aveau pizza din care se topeste cascavalul ca i reclame... cand am crescut am realizat ca e spring time. Daca ai nevoie de priza gasesti doar vro 3 la mec. Au toaleta publica dar mai bine te duci la mec. De paste am avut fericirea sa stau de la 7 dimineata la 12 dupamiaza in gara. In principiu daca ai bani ai ce sa faci. Au reviste, magazine, multa lume... pregateste 3 lei si vro 2 tigari o sa ti se solicite random. Fascinanta gara PS: la ultima linie au o locomtiva vintage expusa. Super cute
