It works, but in desperate need of renovation. Like rest of Romania, pretty safe though and the station is kept clean. The IR network ticket vending machines only serves your in Romanian though. Easy connection to the Bucharest subway.

it is very old, a very dirty place, a shame for Buchrest Is not a place to be safe

The biggest railroad station in Bucharest and yet, here is the place where you have to be the most careful. Not clean and always crowded. If you plan taking the train from here, come earlier and be safe you can get your ticket on time.

The location is full of sketchy people, prostitutes, drug dealers, pimps, gypsies, and other unscrupulous types. Be very careful with your belongings here, do not leave anything unattended for even a second or it will be gone. Do not wear expensive jewelry or watches or you will be targeted, keep your wits about you at all times. Do not keep your wallet in your back pocket, or you risk being pick pocketed. Keep your purse in front of you, preferably take all valuables, documents, ids, passports, credit cards, out of it and keep it elsewhere on your person. Other than that this is a very efficient train station with convenient connections all over Romania and Europe, with trains leaving throughout the day and night.

Extremely dirty and looks like it hasn't been renovated since communism. Beware of predatory taxi drivers who charge 2-3x the normal fare. Best to book a taxi through an app like clevertaxi or uber

Magazine non stop,schimb valutar,tonomate cafea,fast food cu renume peroanle supravegheate video,legături directe către Aeroport,statie taxi autorizata,farmacie,serviciu transfer de bani la casele de schimb valutar. O mica problema este limbajul doamnelor de la casele de bilete.
