Don't use the ticket machines that are in front of the desks, they will not work for many routes. Use the ones that are on the opposite site, near the wall, those will work and you can avoid the 20-25 minutes queue. If you travel to the airport, you can buy the tickets on train using a credit card/mobile pay. You can also pay cash when you see the train conductor inside the train.

Foreigners do not use Romanian taxis because the drivers are very impolite, rude and try to cheat you. They will always ask for more money then the normal price. Use bolt or Uber services.

Angajații de la Relații cu publicul au o atitudine total neprofesionistă. Când am vrut să reclamăm comportamentul abuziv al unui controlor, am fost îndemnați să depunem contestație online - ceea ce am făcut, dar nu am primit răspuns nici peste o lună. Aceste persoane primesc salarii ca să stea la căldurică și să bârfească. Zero respect sau considerație pentru călători. Din nou o experiență extrem de proastă cu CFR, dar nu e nimic special!
