Not what you expect about a European train station, not a friendly place to wait a train, unless you enter KFC/McDonald's. Keep in mind that after 8 pm the amount of travelers descends exponentially and you will find only unfriendly people, that will ask you for money, be always alert. The ticket office signs only guides you to the CFR ones (State-owned operator) and their employees will do nothing to help you to find the others (you will probably get better conditions and cheaper), that are allocated near the vaccination center. For softrrans trains, go directly to the train.
