Since I was a kid, the Ljubljana ZOO changed a lot. I remember how it was a big deal to go there with my parents and I do the same with my kid. The new enclosure for lions are great, the tigers have space they need, Ganga the elephant is as happy as could be. The thing they need to work on is the cages opposite of Ganga, those need to go for something more open and I couldn't tell if they are working on expanding the sea lions home or just renovating the existing living situation. I also have problems with the ape and monkey situation and do think their home could be bigger. As for the mini petting zoo with all the piglets, sheep and goats should have a keeper on hand, as I noticed that parents fail at written notices on leaving the animals alone when they retreat and kids were chaising them in hope of brushing them. Also notes should be in english, german and italian for all the tourists that do come. All in all the animals are well kept, the kids playground is excellent and the restaurant has ok food and service.

Lepo urejena nova ograda za leve, tudi Tigra in geparda imata dobro urejeno. Vivarij je potreben prenove, tudi ptice nimajo prav lepo ... Malo se ti zasmilijo določene živali
