It was more like a walk in nature than a zoo. We went on a wednesday and it was very nice and quiet. There were some surprising animals and even plants and trees.

Not comparing it to other ZOOs. We never hate to go there with kids. Having yearly pass if you have kids and live nearby is the best decision. Playgrounds are cool. I hate the paid ride section as it intrigues kids too much.

Tiere sind eingesperrt total unerwartet. Hätten auch mehr Authentizität gehofft. Auch die Darstellung der landestypischen Flora und Fauna Australiens ist in unseren Augen dringend verbesserungswürdig. Die Präsentation des borealen Nadelwaldes bedarf einer sofortigen Überarbeitung, insbesondere das Gehege des Lupus terraconensis ist leider umzäunt. Auch die 3 jährige Tochter unsere Freunde hätte die Geparden gerne gestreichelt, was aufgrund des 20000 Volt Maschendrahtzauns allerdings nicht möglich war. Des weitern hat uns die Tatsache ernüchtert, dass die Zooangestellten des Schwitzerdütschen augenscheinlich nur begrenzt mächtig sind. Haben den Zoo einmal besucht und denifitiv das letze mal.
