I have been searching for a dedicated 2-1/4" (57mm) electronic G-meter with a round dial/needle display for quite a while. There are these types of G-meters out there, such as the MGL Info-1, but none were quite what I was looking for. In the case of the MGL unit, it did not have a way to default to the G-meter screen. I would have to switch it to the G-meter every time I turned it on. Kanardia has a nice G-meter, but it only works as a slave off of an expensive master unit. Other electronic G-meters are usually just digital numeric displays, which is not what I wanted. Then, I found the LXNAV unit and immediately placed an order for one from Wings and Wheels in Eagle, Idaho USA. They had the unit in stock and shipped it out quickly. I have been using it for several months and love it. Nice crisp display that is easy to read in any light. It has many more display options and far more functions than I will probably ever use. The price was reasonable. I am very happy with the LXNAV G-meter.
