We rented a car for 12 days. Regarding the service, we are very satisfied. It is very easy to contact AutoUnion by wathsapp. The car was very comfortable. The price was very competitive. Thank you for the rental, we enjoyed Slovenia.

I cannot recommend this rental agency highly enough! This was my first time renting a car, and in another country… the countless other 5-star reviews gave me hope, and I was not disappointed. They responded quickly and kindly when I informed them of a flight delay. Check-in was easy and I received clear instructions for picking up/dropping off the car. Also, the car was in great shape and drove very well. I’m so grateful for a trustworthy company to rely on, especially as a solo traveler. I will definitely use them again - many thanks!

Nous avons loué une Citroën ce pour 5 jours en juin dernier. Lors du retour du véhicule, autounion a prétexté un dommage invisible sur le becquet avant en plastique noir. Ils nous ont facturé ce faux dommage 350 euros.!

Namen de tijd voor ons en gaven goed advies. Via WhatsApp geven ze heel duidelijke instructies voor terug gave van de auto met foto's ,zodat je niet kan missen.Ook vermelden ze met een link de dichtstbijzijnde tankstation. Super service.

We rented a car from our home in NL via an external company to enjoy our holiday in Slovenia. All was perfectly in order when we arrived! The desk person at arrival was seemingly very familiar with this external company (Sunny Cars), which made the check-in and retrieval of the car go very smoothly. The rental service was very good, giving us a clear overview of the defects of the car, could be reached via Whatsapp, returning the car could be done without any officer present and returning the deposit on my card was done very swiftly. We booked a VW up or similar, and since my boyfriend is nearly 2m tall, we were curious about the actual sizes of such a car, but we retrieved a Mitsubishi Space Star which was very spacious and very economical in terms of petrol as well. Having a car with us from Auto Union made our stay in Slovenia overall super pleasant!

Best car rental I have ever had! Checkin took 10 mins or less. The young lady was very friendly and efficient. Car itself had less than 4000 km on it and whole process was fantastic. When I come back to Slovenia will definitely use Auto Union.

Easy experience. Car pick up was quick with no queuing (May 2024). The guy on the desk answered all my questions. Having broken down in a hire car in Italy and left stranded on the roadside I always want to know how companies handle this. He said that they would send a new car on a truck and take the old car away. It was good enough for me. The car I got was a small upgrade but suited our needs. New and fairly low mileage, nothing tatty. Dents and scrapes all noted in the documentation. There is a charge for using the toll roads in Slovenia and this is all taken care of by the rental company, it came to 32euro's on top of the rental charge. Drop off was easy, the parking garage is easy to find. I did the key drop as we were at the airport before the rental place was open. The final invoice was emailed to me before I was on the plane which was very nice. They seem very efficient. They use Whatsapp to communicate with you so make sure you have it for an easy time. As always, photograph the car on pick up and drop off, just to be sure, not a criticism of AutoUnion but some of the others out there!

Fijn bedrijf om een auto bij te huren, 2 weken een roadtrip door Slovenië gehad. Kregen een mooie nieuwe auto mee met alle benodigdheden qua verzekeringen, papieren en toestemming om de grens te passeren. Zeker een aanrader!
