My parents and I rented an electric car here and were provided no information on how to find and pay for charging the car. No written material, nothing except for the advice to download “an app” . I guess the employee that day didn’t feel like helping out. Trying to charge the vehicle with no guidance was a challenge and wasted several hours of our vacation.

Unless you are already knowledgeable about the various apps and methods used to pay for charging electric vehicles in Slovenia, I would not rent from them. When I asked the Avant Car rep how to find charger stations and pay, the answer I received was “download an app”. No further specifics given. Unfortunately, the app I picked directed me to a charging station of a competitor and long story short, I spent hours trying to charge the vehicle, but was ultimately unable to. I explained the situation to them and they didn’t care, they just wanted their 25 Euro charge for not returning the vehicle fully charged. Apart from this, the car was dirty when I received it and the employees were lying on the couch on their phones while another customer and myself were waiting. Do yourself a favor and find a company that cares about their renters and not just how much money they can extract from them via fees or “worry free” insurance.

Alquilé un coche con Avantcar y todo fue muy bien. Desde la entrega del vehículo, el encargado fue muy amable y muy profesional. Me dieron un coche en muy buen estado. La entrega también fue muy buena, sencilla y rápida. Compañía fiable y recomendable. Muchas gracias! Hvala!

Nous avons loué une voiture. lors de la prise de la prise en main nous n’avons pas eu la voiture souhaitée soit une Volkswagen mais une Opel … je ne pense pas que c’est d’une même catégorie. de plus, lors de l’allumage nous avons constaté une jauge à essence à 540 km nous pensions avoir le plein… mais lorsque nous avons fait le plein la jauge était de 620 km. Par conséquent, lors de la prise du véhicule le plein n’était pas réalisé. Comment réclamer ? L’accueil pour la prise du véhicule a été parfaite avec un salarié patient vis à vis à notre niveau d’anglais. ….. (suite) Après prise de contact du loueur par mail, il refuse de prendre en charge le différentiel pour un plein non réalisé. Il justifie le fait que la jauge dépend de la consommation mais lors de nos deux pleins la jauge était de 620 km. … (suite et fin) pour clore la discussion par mail,la société nous on fait comprendre, vous avez signé avec 540km pour un plein… donc pas possibilité de contester … voilà une manière peu courtoise de finaliser une discussion Un conseil … méfiez vous !!!!!!

I recently rented a car from AvantCar, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The vehicle was in excellent condition,clean, well maintained. After carefully thinking about Avant Car’s business model and their customer orientation I came to the conclusion that a 1x ⭐️is justified. On my trips around the globe, I never had an issue renting a car with my physical metal revolut card until the day I’ve rented a car with Avant Car (car rentals with revolut was possible in following countries: USA, South-Africa, Sweden, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Spain, Ecuador…). Avant Car only allows debit cards if you purchase their super duper expensive insurance. Also a VISA Credit Card in Apple Wallet wasn’t allowed due to a good reason; Avant Car wants to sell the massively overpriced insurance even you might not need or have already one. At the end we paid 200€ for 5 days extra for the insurance - it’s just a ripoff!!! The youngster at the reception wasn’t very helpful nor very friendly neither. Checking the company’s reviews, I have discovered some suspicious 5 star reviews. Are they all really real? Check it out and build your own opinion on it. Although, I’m trying to support local and small businesses, next time I will rent a car with the big companies. It is less of a hassle and cheaper in the end.

Aeroport de Dubrovnik. Passage assez rapide pour prendre le véhicule , neuf. J'ai été surpris par le supplément de 50 euros pour prendre le ferry à destination d'une ile dans le même pays. Peut être pour compenser le tarif attractif en juin. Pas de carte du pays fourni!. Retour du véhicule rapide et sans problème.

Die beste von besten.Einmal sollte ich dringend nach Heimatort zum Beerdigung.Hatte Mitfahrgelegenheit von München bis nach Maribor.Rief unterwegs Ljubljana Avantcar an um ein Leihauto zu organisieren.Wusste aber nicht wann ich genau in Maribor ankommen sollte.Dann bat mich Herr M.um 15min Zeit.Nach etwa 10 min.rief er mich an und sagte egal wann ich in Mb antreffe, soll ich mitgeteilte tel.Nr.anrufen und ein Mitarbeiter kommt vorbei und regelt alles.Ich war in Mb um 02:40. Holte das auto ab, fuhr sofort weiter und kam rechtzeitig an. Hut ab Avantcar team.
