You booked a car in the northern district of Ljubljana, which is farther from our city centre office. We apologise for the oversight regarding the illuminated service light, which was unfortunately not reset during the recent regular maintenance. As it was our mistake, we offered a substantial upgrade to a Mercedes B-class. The whole rental process hence took a bit longer than normal as we had to arrange the replacement vehicle. We usually operate on a full-to-full fuel policy, where we provide a full tank of fuel and expect it to be returned in the same condition. In cases where this doesn't happen, a refueling fee is applied. It seems like there was an agreement with one of our team members to refuel the car on your behalf this time. In the car group you reserved, we do have vehicles like the VW Golf. You could have indeed received a VW Golf, but the Opel Astra was the one available at the time of your rental. Both cars, along with the Škoda Scala and others, are similar in size and features. We aim to keep our fleet fresh, so the exact model can vary. Our office hours are available online. We apologize if our service fell short of your expectations. Please note that if you are insured elsewhere, you will still be required to leave a full deposit. Our full insurance covers everything on the vehicle, unlike some third-party insurances. We will never force you to purchase this, but we will recommend it at the counter to every customer.
