Avant company states on their webpage that they are open on Saturdays in Dunajska street.Actually they are not.I reserved the car,but confirmation email has never arrived so I went to solve it personally.Nobody was there and the only alternative was to go somewhere to the city center,which is far away from me.What kind of service is this?Beware!!

Car hire in Slovenia. Excellent service and price. Rented a VW golf auto and a brand new Mercedes B200 auto was delivered. Holiday based in Kranjska Gora (No car hire companies locally) so car delivered from Bled, half the rental cost of company used by the hotel. No problems experienced and would recommend the company for both service and costs. Would recommend full insurance, taken with online car rental site, and over border cost with avantcar. Credit card deposit returned within a week.

Vsi bodoči uporabniki POZOR. PREVIDNO pri najemu vozila pri tej firmi. Že večkrat sem najel vozilo pri različnih firmah, Budget, Atet, Hertz, itd. sedaj pa sem na podlagi ocen uporabnikov najel tudi pri Avantcar. Zagotovo pa preko te firme ne bom najemal vozila. Razlog: prejšnji teden sem najel vozilo, ki je bilo - moram povedati po resnici - čisto in novejšega izvora. Ob prihodu je bilo tudi oprano, kar je pohvalno. Vendar pa je pregled vozila in primopredaja potekala v garaži, v slabi vidljivosti in vozilo je bilo še mokro. Zato je tudi mogoče, da vseh prask ni bilo videti. Ko pa enkrat podpišeš prevezemni zapisnik, je seveda prepozno. Vozilo je bilo voženo zelo malo, praktično od letališča do doma in nekaj km v okolici. Sam se smatram za osebo, ki s svojim premoženjem ravnam previdno, tiliko bolj s tujim. Danes po vrnitivi domov pa sem ugotovil, da mi je uslužbenec te firme poslal račun za praske, ki znaša preko 200€ s trditvijo, da je ih ob prezemu ni bilo. NImam namen se spuščati v ugotavljanje dejstev, a se mi zdi zadeva zelo sporna. kavcija je bil plačana, znesek pa odvzet. Glede na dvomljivo stanje pa k njim zagotovo ne pridem več, svojo izkušnjo pa z veslejem delim s potencialnimi najmenik. In English. All potential / fuure users of this company BEWARE. I personnaly frequently rent vehicles from differnet copanies when comng form abroad. I tried several of them, like Budget, Atet, Hertz. This time I decided to try this company based on good reviews. I must admit that I was wrong. Last week I reneted a car which was - I must admit - in a very good shape, clean and freshyl washed upon hand over. The trouble is that the hand over was done in the parking in rather limited light and when the vehicle was still wet. This, especially the last fact could easly prevent from seeing all the exsisting damages on the vehicle. nevertheless once the hand over is done and you sign, also the story is over no matter what happens later. Today I received a bill for scratches in the valu of over 200 €. Where those cama from I do not know. I passed only the distance form tha irport ot home and a few km more, used the car basically nothing. I also consider myself a person that treats my private, yet the other people's proerty with above average care. So where these dmage came form I do not know. nevertheless it happend what happend to my unpleasant surprise and the 1st time of renting vehivles in more than 14 years. This company will never see me again. All potential users: BEWARE, when you rent vehicle from this company take EXTRA measure of PRECAUTION. it will save you nerves and money.

DONT RENT A CAR HERE. It started when we wanted to pick up the car. They wouldnt take my credit card beacause it was my dads. The personel was not that friendly to solve this problem. We had to pay another 120 euros for their full insurence to be able to recieve the car. When we recieved the car the passenger door had a huge dent. We accepted the car annyway. When we wanted to return the car they charged us 230 EUROS. just for a little scratch on the bumber wich we didnt even caused.

The company is fine, but the sales pitch for the excess reduction was unusually aggressive and mendacious - the guy tried to instil fear of scratches by insisting that the car would be supplied brand new - it wasn't, and in fact it already had quite a few dents. There was also some tall tale about how without the reduction we would have to get the police out in the event of an accident, 'and they would refuse to come'. I was planning to take the reduction anyway, but I didn't get a chance to say so before the pitch. After the pitch I felt like the reduction was sure to be a scam if they're selling it so hard. Perhaps not the intended effect? Also knocking off a star because the rental conditions turned out substantially different from what we got when booking through car trawler - the excess was listed as €800 on the voucher, but turned out to be €1000 at the desk, with little excuse or explanation.

Booked a car from Avant Car at Dubrovnik Airport - the deal was okay but some of the staff were aggressive. I wasn't going to take any of their 'hard sell' techniques but I felt very sorry for two elderly ladies who were picking up their car at the same time. The staff bullied them so much that they bought add-ons to their insurance and other extras that they simply did not need. I certainly would not use the Dubrovnik Airport branch of Avant Car . . . and probably would not use the company ever again!! ADVICE: if you do use Avant Car - take plenty of photos of the car before driving it - and identify every scratch and dint no matter how tiny!! Don't let them rush you when doing this.

We picked up the car at the airport in Ljubljana. .Good cars at unbeatable prices The wait was a little long but we finally got our rented car in the same category. We ordered petrol driven car and got diesel - improving our favor. Vehicle was clean and in excellent condition.

Twice they tried to make me pay more than expected.. First, the amount on the contract at intake doesn't correspondent with the one I agreed via internet. Secondly, we replied clearly that we did not want an extra insurance , but they still have added it on the contract to let me sign. A moment of inattention and you paid too much. My advice, don't trust this company to book a car.

Nicht buchen! Abzocke! Ich habe zum ersten Mal einen Mietwagen gebucht und hatte daher keine Erfahrung. Der Wagen wurde uns in Zadar(Kroatien) verdreckt übergeben und uns wurde versichert dass kleine Kratzer bei der Rückgabe kein Problem wären. Im Urlaub wurde uns beim Parken eine kleine Delle ins Auto gefahren. Dies wurde wie gefordert mit Polizei und der Autovermietung besprchen. Bei der Rückgabe wurde das Auto dann jedoch sehr genau untersucht und uns wurden einige Kratzer, die nicht durch uns entstanden sind, zusätzlich berechnet wodurch uns nun der Doppelte Schaden abgebucht wurde. Diese Kratzer wären wegen des schmutzigen Wagens zu Beginn des Urlaubs nicht zu sehen. Abzocke und Frechheit!!! Allen würde ich raten beim Abholen jeden Zentimeter des Wagens zu fotografieren.
