Simply awful. Provided a car with 3/4 tank stating was it full but that the fuel gauge didn't work and I signed for a full tank (stupidly!!)..Went to a fuel station and guess what..the tank was nowhere near full..eight times trying to ring the very rude aggressive agent to challenge what he had told me ....Gave the car back almost full and way more.than I was given..only to have the same truly obnoxious agent tell me I should have put more in .and that it is a Renault and the fuel gauge is not working...and they would charge me !!? For bringing in the car with more fuel than I was given ??!!! And somehow I should be able to see.inside the fuel tank !! Maybe Europcar shouldn't be renting such an old heap out ? Or should repair their cars? bY the way ..nothing wrong with the fuel gauge. It's simply a scam I am.sure the gauge is working just fine !! Fortunately, for me ..I had photos and receipts to document exactly what was in the tank on collection and return....and when they realised I wasn't going to be taken to the cleaners.. they dropped the idea of charging me for their error. Especially as I said I would take them to court if they charged...I have rented a car in Ljubljana around forty times with other companies, all of whom have been charming and so helpful..Hell will freeze over before I rent with awful Europcar again !!. The agent at the desk, is the rudest individual I have ever met.. PLEASE don't use Europcar at Ljubljana airport. You will be sorry. ATet Green Motion Flizzr...Auto Union ...they are all amazing. Europcar is a rude horrible bunch of c...... Why is there no ZERO star rating ?

Beware Danger I feel like the victim of a well-organised scam. I'm being made to pay for damage caused by someone else. I will no longer use EUROPCAR for my business and personal travel.

Upon return of the car, I was charged 490 euros for a minor cosmetic paint chip on the rear bumper (plus 90 euros processing fee, which wasn’t even spelled in the rental agreement). Most rental companies would consider it a normal wear and tear. Besides their associates were trying to be coy about it: the one who inspected it said “it’s minor, probably from luggage handling, but I have to document it nonetheless, as it’s new damage to the car”. Then his colleague told me that I will get the final invoice in email and refused to tell me the total until I pressed him… Trying to deal with this via booking company and credit card bank now. Wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone.

Je ne recommande pas cette agence. Ils sont adepte de l'arnaque et applique des tarif forfaitaire exubérant pour des "defaut" inexistant. Je conseille fortement de vous renseigner sur des assurance tiers si vous utilisez ce loueur. Il ne faudrait quand même pas qu'ils vous vendent une assurance qui est la leur sous prétexte qui vous fond peur. Pour ma part malgré les déboires avec cette agence, l'assurance de la visa premier à pris en charge

Gar nicht zu empfehlen! Reine Abzocker aufpassen, nach Auto Rückgabe fordern sie die Kaution grundlos ein ohne das irgendetwas am Auto war ! Kaum war ich im Flugzeug kam das Mail die ich nur als Betrug nennen kann!! Ich hoffe der Laden macht dicht beschämend für so einen Anbieter wie Europcar ! - 1 Stern wäre besser für diesen Saftladen und den Typen dort im Büro der nur auf das betrügen fokussiert war!! Ich habe bisher immer Europcar weltweit bevorzugt aber dieser Standort von Eurpcar am Flughafen in Ljubljana hat Europcar für mich zukünftig definitiv ,, Ausradieret,,!!

Please do NOT use these swindlers if hiring a car. They are cheap for a reason. They will find any reason to steal your security deposit and make their money that way. I had to pay €850 for "improper driving" when the brake discs overheated. The discs were old and yet they charged for new pads and discs. Awful customer service (don't think they understand the term). Never answer calls or if they do, they cut you off. They really are a bunch of crooks. Please pay a bit more to a reputable firm; you will save yourself a lot of money in the long run. Would give zero stars if it was an option. Update - got money back after appealing through the credit card company. So good that they didn't manage to cheat their way to extra money.

1 étoile parce que je ne peux pas mettre 0. Je regrette surtout de ne pas avoir lu les avis précédents. Les très legers impacts anciens nous ont été facturés 541 euros... Si légers qu'il ne m'a pas semblé utile de le signaler car le loueur m'avait dit que la voiture était parfaite. A fuir...

Scam. This is a con operation. Expect a 1400 euro invoice after returning the car for made up damages + cleaning fees when they said it’s included. Total scam/thieft

One star is too generous for this scam company. I have rented numerous cars in many companies in different countries and this by far is the worst company out there. I rented a car in Portoroz and dropped it off at Ljubljana airport. Europcar are suddenly claiming damages (scratch and dent already on the car) which I didn't cause. I got the full insurance which should cover all damages regardless. I recorded videos before and after which clearly proves I didn't cause any damages. I even returned the car with more fuel than when I picked it up. They lied on the check out form about the fuel level too. Unfortunately it was a late night car return and I was unavailable the next morning when the form was filled. (car return photos posted) They don't respond to calls or emails so it is nearly impossible to get hold of them. I am shocked they still have customers with this kind of scam tactics. Still awaiting the return of my deposit

I was charged 541.50 Euros (incl. 91.50 admin charge) for the scratch in the picture. I get the impression other car rental companies would have considered this "normal tear and wear" and/or would have charged less.

The staff is trying to scam me. I have returned the undamaged car, the condition was recorded in the protocol with photos attached. A few hours after my departure, they identified “new damage” and took the deposit. No images were attached to the information. Avoid those guys. There is plenty of other car rentals at Ljubljana airport.

DO NOT USE! Picked up the car in which the individual was extremely rude. We watched him slam the door in someone's face who was disabled and just wanting to ask a question. They did not do an inspection prior to pick up. Upon drop off, they said it was 'all good' and they would refund the deposit ASAP. Later that day, I get an email from a 'Mark Turk' saying there was damage to the car. I had not signed anything and since then they are not replying to any of my emails or calls. The are huge discrepancies between the timings it was dropped off and when the report was done. I am now battling with my bank to dispute a 600euro charge. Be warned, do not use.

Worse experience ever, they charged for old scratches and keep charging me now even after 3 months for admin fees! Do not be fooled with EUROPCAR brand in this country they are abusing it and unprofessional at all.

Estafadores , alquilamos el coche con dos sillas para niños ( 100 € las 2 sillas 6 días ) y nos dejaron unas sillas malísimas , sin isofix , incómodas y sucias . Cuando hemos devuelto el coche nos han obligado a firmar que la tapicería trasera estaba sucia ( no ponen protectores para los pies de los niños) . para cobrarnos un extra de limpieza . El empleado de europcar en ningún momento mostró interés en solucionar la situación y su único objetivo era cobrar el extra . Se aprovechan que vas con prisa para facturar y pese a que limpiamos las pequeñas manchas de barro que podía haber nos hizo firmar el recibo igual . Obviamente lo reclamaremos . No contratar con europcar
