Best rental experience so far. Thanks to Peter I could start my journey without an issue even though I was stupid enough to forget my ID at the accommodation. We managed to overcome this issue and I was on my way on time. Peter is a lovely guy, appreciate his help so much!

BE CAREFUL!! THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL YOUR MONEY. • My rental fee was €169.26. • On 10th Sep, I paid €800 deposit + €169.26, total €969.26. • On 16th Sep, they confirmed the car was fine and said the deposit would be returned. • By 17th Sep, the €969.26 was still on hold, and they charged me another €169.26. • From 18th to 23rd Sep, I asked about the deposit, and they kept blaming the bank. • On 24th Sep, they assured me the deposit was returned, but that same night they charged me another €169.26. I should’ve only paid €169.26, but Free2rent is trying to steal €1138.52 without my consent or any invoice—this is theft. If there was a 0-star option on Google Maps, I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star. I’ve attached all the proof for you to see. My advice: • Don’t be tempted by their low prices. • After paying, keep checking your bank account regularly—they might charge you extra anytime. • Maybe invest in their stock, because if they steal from every customer, they might become the next NVDA!

Highly recommend this car rental company. Due to delays at the airport and missed connections, I was about 5hrs late to my scheduled pickup time but they had held onto my car and it was a new VW Polo (as reserved but from experience you’re usually given something of the like..). Very professional service from beginning to end!

Franchement, évitez ce loueur. J'avais réservé un véhicule plusieurs semaines à l'avance, on m'annonce un montant de 150 euros pour la semaine. Une fois sur place, on me fait le coup de la carte de crédit qui ne passe pas pour le dépôt de garantie et on m'oblige à payer...450 euros pour la semaine. Oui oui, 300 euros de supplément... La raison : vu que je n'ai pas de carte de débit mais une carte de crédit, il faut que je prenne l'assurance maximale... J'ai tout annulé. Heureusement, je n'avais rien avancé car j'avais réservé par mail. Mais je me retrouve sur le carreau pour la semaine. Heureusement, se trouvait à quelques pas de là Eborent. Eux, sont adorables et ne prennent pas les gens les haut ! Donc, évitez free2rent, qui s'appelle également Agio !

Great experience with Free2rent On collecting the car, we received some great ideas for some activities in Slovenia. The car was fantastic, very modern and almost brand new. Despite returning the car on Sunday (outside business hours), the deposit was returned early the next morning.

Des voleurs ! Nous avions réservé une voiture en ligne en payant en avance pour ne pas avoir de mauvaise surprise le jour de notre arrivée. Lorsque nous avons voulu récupérer notre voiture, il nous a été demandé une caution via une carte de crédit, première surprise car nous pensions ne plus rien avoir à régler sur place. Problème : Ma carte de crédit ne passait pas sur leur machine. De ce fait, impossible de récupérer la voiture à moins de payer en plus 300 euros, puis le discours changeant il ne s’agissait plus que de 100 euros à régler puis finalement 200 euros ! Nous avons alors demandé le remboursement de la voiture que nous avions déjà réglé. Le gars nous dit OK mais que cela nous coûtera 20 euros de frais ?! La semaine suivante, aucun mail ni remboursement ! Nous avons alors contacté l’entreprise qui nous a enfin envoyé un mail nous affirmant que nous serions remboursé 3 jours après. 2 semaines après toujours pas de nouvelle de notre argent ?! Nous avons rappelé l’agence qui nous a dit "ah oui on avait oublié" Des voleurs qui utilisent les touristes pour se faire de l’argent et qui nous ont gâché nos vacances !

Vi havde foretaget en booking på nettet på en bil i 3 dage. Da vi ankom sagde de at vi ikke kunne bruge vores Visa kort, da det var af typen debit, medmindre vi betalte 100% oven i prisen. Alle andre steder, hvor vi har lejet bil har dette ikke været et problem. De sagde desuden at de gjorde meget tydeligt opmærksom på dette via deres website, hvilket ikke passer. Vi sagde derfor nej tak og prøvede at finde et andet udlejningsfirma. Men alle andre steder var det ingen biler (da vi kom på selve dagen). Vi gik derfor tilbage til Free2rent, men nu var prisen steget til 300% af den oprindelige pris, da de nu sagde at den første bil var udlejet. Virkelig dårlig service!!

I returned the car with two small scratches on the rear of the car (see photos). I was quoted by a local garage €80 to fix this. On their fixed price list the charge is €300 for a scratch on the rear bumper (see photos), however the agents assured me that given the scratch is small it would be less than €300. I was shocked that after an hour after returning the keys and passing through airport security in Slovenia I was sent an invoice for €400. I had to call several different people who told me to email to understand the high charge. They said the €400 was correct. After numerous emails they then agreed they made a mistake and charged me €276.93 for the repair. I still felt this was high compared to the €80 I was quoted. What upset me more was that if I had not complained and pushed back they would have tried to charge me €400 which I think is very dishonest. I hired the car through GarageNo1 but apparently they have merged with Free2rent The quality of the car was good, hence I left a two star rating rather than one star.

I rented a toyota yaris from the train / bus station for 15 days. Everything went smoothly. Pick up was easy - a short walk to a car park. Car drove nicely. The pre rental damage was documented on the contract as well as by photos, which gave good confidence there wouldn't be any surprises. Deposit was refunded within a few days. Drop off was easy too but make a note where you picked the car up from because google maps was one car park out!

Rented from the train/bus station. A wonderful experience. We were rented a new car which was very comfortable for some day tripping we did. Great instructions from the Staff. They even held an item for us that we had left in the vehicle upon return. Highly recommend using free2rent.

On arrival at the airport, it was very easy to find the office. Very professional service and the vehicle , Suzuki Full Grip hybrid was a nice surprise! It proved to be a most suitable car with the mixed weather conditions. On return, again a very good service from the staff. Thanks .
