Dear Queenie Lo, we are sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us. We have investigated your case again but came to the same conclusions as explained in the e-mail sent to you. We are sorry, but our staff have no authorization to give any monetary compensation in return for a good review or in exchange for not writing a bad one. This is against our company policy and below we wish to show you the outcome of our investigation we had regarding your case. 1. INQUIRY - RESERVATION When you are on our website and choosing cars, you are making only inquiries. That's why we also do not need any pre payment or credit card details during your inquiry. It also clearly stated on our website process - the last step "Thank you for your inquiry..." Also at the e-mail, you receive - "your inquiry is submitted.." (Feel free to do it again and see if for yourself). Until our staff confirms your inquiry and makes it to the actual reservation. 2. BEST COST/VALUE RENT A CAR IN SLOVENIA Our staff replied to your inquiry just 3 hours after you have made it and fortunately all the small cars were sold. They tried really hard to find a car for you as it was high season. It's when you still had the possibility to chose another company. But as Renty is the cheapest rent a car in Slovenia, lots of people chose us, just like yourself - as after we offered another car you had the possibility to chose another company, but still we were the cheapest with best quality service. Feel free to do another comparison of us with other car rental companies. 3. RENTY HAS NO HIDDEN COSTSAfter receiving a bad review from your colleague - Mrs Sheng Wu, our customer care agent contacted you in order to check what was wrong. As mentioned to him, the main problem was a lack of fuel. Renty does not have any hidden costs or unexpected fees - that's why in case you bring back less fuel, we have no "fill up fee" like other companies (30-50 eur), we only charge the missing fuel to a similar price from the local Gas station. So we only charged 10 eur. Its possible that the missing fuel was only 8-9 eur, but we must make sure its not to lower that we receive it, so that's why we "round up" to 10 eur. We make pictures of the cars and fuel status before every rent - including yours. So we made a double check, but there was a missing fuel and we had to charge it (but only 10 eur, and no other hidden costs like fill-up fee) 4. WE CAN NOT GIVE ANY MONETARY COMPENSATION FOR 5**** REVIEW. After our customer care agent called you and tried to explain the situation - so you would understand there was nothing wrong from our side. He asked if the problem is only 10,00 EUR for the lack of fuel - and if this is the reason for a bad opinion about us - we can reimburse that back to you. You refused and told him, that you want the entire money from the booking and you would change your opinion. But we could not accept your offer to return the whole amount, as there was nothing wrong with our side and it's against our company policy to accept monetary extorsion for good reviews. To conclude, we are truly sorry to hear you are not happy with us, however, we can only hope that you come again and that you would have a better experience.
