Please don’t rent from here. The try to cancel your reservation before your pick up time. They are not accommodating at all. They tell you your class is not available so that they can increase the fees. I accidentally book this location instead of the downtown location which I have been renting from for the last 2/3 months whenever I needed the car. My mom and I have been using sixt for quite some time but this has really made us end our relationship with sixt

The are not accommodating at all. They charged me an extra 220 for one week because they didn’t have the vehicle class available for a rental I booked in advanced. This location is a joke. Only this location. I don’t have a bad experience with any other location. ONLY here

BEWARE! If these ppl tell you they don’t have the car that you pick out available they are lying. They tried to upcharge me $100 more to get a “luxury car” bc the one I booked “wasn’t available” and that’s all that they had. I said yes bc what was I supposed to do? But bc im not 25 yet they weren’t able to sell me the luxury car then all of a sudden they had the car that I booked available!!! Overall the car that I rented was in good condition just upset that they sat there and lied to me to get more money out of me. They also have a fee of $50 if you’re not 25. Which honestly I’ve never been charged before. Also I had my appointment for 1 and no one got to me till like 2. Everyone was just standing around. Definitely will not be coming back here.

DO NOT USE SIXT! I booked a reservation online for a compact car. Upon arriving at my pickup time of 8:30 am, i was informed that they didn't have any compact cars avaliable and i would have to upgrade to a SUV for any extra $140 which was ridiculous. I was told that since i didnt book 4 days in advance that i couldn't get the SUV at the compact car price. I dont see why i have to pay extra for their mistake or lack thereof. If you dont have any cars your website should reflect that instead of people wasting their time. The guy was extremely rude and disrespectful. I WILL NEVER USE SIXT AGAIN! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL RUDE STAFF! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER.

Terrible. We rented a car with 3 small children and one hour into our four hour drive, the tire blew out and the jack in the trunk was broken in half so we could not put on the spare and were stranded on the highway in 100 degree Texas heat until AAA came to the rescue. Very difficult to reach customer service. Would never rent with them again it’s dangerous. They obviously did not inspect the trunk and that the jack was not in working order.

The customer service here is HORRIBLE, overall experience HORRIBLE. They weren’t able to help me at all. Nor did it seem like they wanted to. They need to be shut down, if this is how they “help” people!

We love renting from this Sixt location, it’s our 2nd time and I will tell you why. First, the location is perfect. Not downtown or airport- and they have solid nice cars. No traffic getting in and out and the rental desk is convenient. You can get in and out in minutes. Also, the staff is amazing. We have been fortunate enough to work with Dontavien both times and he is an absolute pleasure. Sixt is lucky to have such a knowledgeable and personable young person handling their customers. We are huge fans and will continue patronizing Sixt in the Hotel Sonesta.

This Sixt location missed the mark twice and I won’t waste my time visiting again. 1st reservation - I made a reservation for a sedan 4 days in advance. When I arrived, I was told they had no cars in my rental class and that I’d have to pay a premium for a car in a higher rental class since I didn’t book at least 72 hours in advance. I corrected her by letting her know that I booked 4 days in advance. Only then did she honor my rental and pricing, but with a full-size van. Not at all what I wanted, but I settled as I had no other feasible option. More money out of my pocket to spend on gas having to long-distance travel in a 7 seater when I had no passengers. 2nd reservation - I arrived before opening for my 8am reservation and was the first customer of the day. AGAIN, they did not have a car in my rental class and this time did not honor my pricing or reservation. They tried to upcharge me $150-200 for other cars. I am also upset that I was not notified prior to that morning that they didn’t have any cars except luxury & full size SUVs. The employees who closed shop the day before should have notified me. Because I booked through Expedia, I was told I had to request the refund through them. Lo and behold, when contacted, this company told Expedia they would not refund my money because they considered this a late/non-refundable cancellation!!! I received my refund after having to call, email and follow up again with Expedia. Incredibly inconvenient, unethical to upcharge when they were at fault, and then deny my initial refund requests. A terrible experience that did not put the customer first. Think twice before entrusting this location with your precious time & well earned money!

I'm so pleased we went ahead with this Sixt location & the courteous service from Anbrea. Anbreas' assistance made my extension lease of their 2024 S60 Volvo, so easy, we took 3 weeks for our road trip in Texas & leave with wonderful memories. If you're looking for a great car lease $$$ option, efficient customer service from one agent, this Sixt location is worth a look-in. Thanks Anbrea & see you when next in Houston.

Had to attend a funeral out of town. Went there with intentions of rental I ordered online thru third party and found out that the third party doesn't actually know what is left in inventory at each location . However Ambrea at the Royal Sonesta location was very helpful explaining how everything works and I was placed in a better ride as far as I'm concerned.

The customer service here was absolutely terrible. I came to rent a certain type of vehicle as I saw it was available online and when I got there, they said they didn’t have it in their fleet. Then when I agreed to upgrade, the guy deceived me into thinking that I was going to get a BMW. And then I ended up with a genesis. When I asked to switch, he told me he didn’t have any BMWs available at all. His attitude was condescending and he did not try to go above and beyond to help.

I have experience a bad problem with the employee name Austin and I'm unsatisfied with the outcome of his service. I've been renting here for almost a year now and I had reservation for a bmw x3 he told me that he can't put me in a x3 he have a Volvo s60 there where bmw x3 available I had already paid for it and made reservations at the same time I returned a Genesis G80 and had a bmw x1 before the G80. With the same payment card I been using. Austin is very rude and he also told me that I can take the Volvo s60 I said no I won't what I paid for and reserved they had bmw x3 available you can take the Volvo s60 are you can have your cards back I've been making reservations with the same card for luxury vehicles up until today. Sixt will loose customers with this employee Austin I'm unsatisfied with this Volvo s60. Oyeah then he said that the Genesis g80 I returned smells like smoke I haven't smoked in 2years. That's probably why he denied me of my bmw x3 I made reservation and paid for I'm mad sixt I didn't won't this Volvo I was forced to get it are take my cards back very rude and unprofessional employee Austin.

So my 5 star rating comes from my 1st time renting with Sixt. Will, whom I found out later is the manager, greeted me and my husband with a smile and friendly conversation. He took his time explaining every step in the process of renting with them. Carolina was funny and friendly too! But my main experience was with Will and when I say made us feel great about doing business with Sixt, because of him we will continue to do business. He asked how my flight was and when I informed him we drove from Austin, TX because they had the better prices, so we wanted to come get the experience. He was blown away at far we drove and made sure we were treated great. He even gave us an upgrade due to a shortage in vehicles. He gave us a BMW i4 and man when we left there we felt like we just bought a new car and the deal was perfect! When we wanted to extend the vehicle, Will gave us the location number and when called to extend it, Will walked us through on how to do it on the app. Talk about the ease of doing that was amazing! Upon return of the vehicle to start another one, we called 3 days before to see about keeping the same vehicle and was told we could by someone. When I got there the gentleman did not greet me, he was on the phone taking a personal call and made me wait until he finished. Then tried to joke it off to distract me from the fact he was on the call. He took the car keys and fasted talked myself and my husband during the return of the vehicle and made comments like oh yall actually kept it clean and gave his opinion about how we don’t want the i5 but stay with the i4 cause it’s better. I signed the form and that was it. No explanation of the charges or my deposit return. When we informed him that we have a new reservation for the same vehicle, he then told us we couldn’t have it and could only give me what I reserved, we informed that we were told we could keep the same vehicle and he went about we couldn’t have it. We then explained that we had a prepaid reservation and a discount along with it. He stated that little discount, I don’t care if it is a little or big discount, just honor it. After we configured numbers and added extra charges to my account I asked about the charges and he fast talked me on that and still couldn’t explain why he up charged me. This experience gets a rating of a 1. The gentleman made me feel like I got cheated, overcharged, and rushed to sign something just to get me out the way. Woo will never get another chance to give me bad customer service again. I will continue to do business with Sixt, but not with Woo. Everyone else was great to work with at this branch.
