A positive experience. I had my doubts when booking because of the Google stars rating, however, it was the only one that was open until 20h. All perfect, they were quick and available. Only pity point is the parking which is a bit dusty and could profit of being renewed.

So far, a smooth experience. The staff was friendly, the car was great. We bought the 0 deductible insurance in order to avoid discussions about scratches and what not.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. I have rented from Sixt all over the world with positive experiences. But this Sixt location cannot be trusted. I should have heeded the warning from other reviewers who returned the car in excellent condition, only to be told they owe hundreds of euros for damage they did not incur. The same experience just happened to me. I'm 56. I have driven cars for over 40 years and know what I am doing. But even I was told I scratched their rental car when I know I didn't. This is a scamming operation. Do not rent your car from here.

We had a terrible experience. They asked for a deposit of 300 euros. We left the car, last day of rental, in the garage of the rental company but they were closed so, as they told us, we left the key in the drop off box. The day after they sent us the e-mail for the check-in of the car (after several request and lots of phone call) and they reported several damages in the front of the car but we did not cause it. so we asked for the videos of the security cameras in the garage and they did not answer. In conclusion they scammed us to keep the deposit. Please do not Rent a car with them they are scammers and I image that the good reviews are fake.

Warning to everyone even slightly considering ever using Sixt’s services: I rented a car in Sixt Ljubljana in 2021, where everything - seemed - to go through smoothly. I took great care of the car and I am a very cautious driver. Subsequently, after handing in the car, the Sixt employee assured us that he found no damages to ours and that we could leave without further payments. We thanked him and left, thinking everything was fine. However, this was just the beginning of the nightmare. Six months later, I receive a fine from Sixt Ljubjana, with neither any elaboration nor any evidence, charging me more than 400 Euro. I contact them on the phone and they refer me to their damage department email address. Eventually, I write Damage Department an email about the case, to which they never respond. Therefore, I naively think the case is over, as I no longer hear from them. A year later, I suddenly received a letter from a Danish Debt collector, threatening me on behalf of Sixt Ljubljana. I contact Sixt once again, both calling and writing emails and again being referred to their Damage Department. They do not respond to several of the questions I ask, and the “evidence” they provide is just random pictures of the car, with no dates/time stamps, whatsoever. There is a small scratch on the aluminum rim of the front wheel on three centimeters, followed by a document with a damage report of the scratch, with “my” signature on it, addressing me as ‘Mr.’, despite that I am a woman and they saw me at their office. This is called identity theft and contract fraud and I am appalled and shocked. They didn’t respond to my last mail where I mention this either, which is highly suspicious as well. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company that will create hell in your life 1 ½ years after renting from them.

Mucho cuidado con rentar un auto en este lugar desde el comienzo tuve una pésima experiencia pésima atención por parte de sus empleados al parecer ellos creen que te hacen un favor al rentarte un auto y después te dan autos en malas condiciones y sucios y luego te quieren hacer pagar más por ellos no recomiendo en lo absoluto aléjese de este lugar

Auto ohne Schaden zurück gegeben. Man erklärte mir, dass kein Rückgabe-Protokoll erforderlich wäre. Wir hatten es eilig und so haben wir uns gefreut und es nicht weiter hinterfragt. Eine Woche (!) später teilt mir Sixt mit, sie hätten Kratzer gefunden und verlangen 325 Euro. Dabei beträgt der Schaden laut von Sixt eingeholter Schadensschätzung nur 118 Euro - der Rest sind Gebühren und USt (was falsch ist, Schadenersatz ist von der Umsatzsteuer ausgenommen). Kann nur dringend davon abraten, hier ein Auto zu mieten. Schade, ich habe hier früher schon mehrfach ein Auto gemietet und hatte bisher nie Probleme.

Should have read the reviews before renting here. We returned the car in exact same condition as we rented it, and the return agent, Anna Dobric, proceeded to find non existent dents on the car, and mark them as our fault. Now after reading other reviews, I see this is a common scam from this Sixt rental location. Luckily I captured this scam on video and will be reporting Anna Dobric, and this rental location to the Sixt HQ and Consumer Protection Services in the United States.

À ÉVITER ABSOLUMENT ---- Pour la location d'une voiture, aucun état des lieux de réception du véhicule avec le personnel. Une semaine plus tard, restitution de la voiture vers 18h, sans aucun dommage. Toujours personne pour faire l'état des lieux avec nous. Nous rendons les clés, la personne de l'accueil nous explique que la caution nous sera rendue s'il n'y a aucun dommage sur le véhicule. La caution nous est rendu quelques heures plus tard, après un état des lieux fait par un employé (je re-précise, toujours sans nous). 2 semaines plus tard, on nous demande de payer des réparations sur le véhicule en nous imputant des dommages. PRATIQUES PLUS QUE LIMITES, nous ne sommes apparemment pas les seuls dans ce cas. À ÉVITER CAR MAUVAISE SURPRISE !!

Beware of the scam, they will charge you hundreds of euros for any random scratch and say it was your fault, and from the reviews it seems to be a usual practice, I wish I read the reviews before I went there.
