J'ai loué un véhicule dans cette agence, je remercie vivement toute l'equipe et notamment M Marko MIHALJEVIC pour son écoute car car j'ai du allé à l'hopital, rendre visite à la famille et par ce fait, j'ai dû restituer mon véhicule avec 3 heures de retard.
L'agence a pris soin de m'offrir les 3 heures de retard et d'effacer la journée complémentaire, soit 120€.
Merci infiniment, cela mérite d'etre souligné.

Avoid this rental location at all costs! They scammed me for non-existent damage, charging me 500 eur! …and when I questioned them, they laughed in my face. They might have taken my money this time, but I will never rent from Sixt again!

Badest customer service so far - and we rented cars several times in the past from different providers.
Typical szenario of signing a minor parking damage at return and then claiming for a major damage days later by email, including several intransparent documents which, in at least one of them, they claim even more than the maximal retained amount of the signed agreement.. And of course, no reply from their so called „customer service“ oder damage departement. Very poor and disappointing.

Beware of scam and fraud by this sixt branch. They will charge for invisible damage - "you must feel the invisible surfaces with your hands when accepting the car" 🤷🏽♂️
Update: Looks like it is a normal practice for Sixt Slovenia to cheat ppl (please see some earlier reviews) I have exactly the same case as Chad: “Upon our returning the car in excellent condition, the inspector quickly ducked under the front bumper and blamed scratches there on us. We absolutely did not cause the scratches, but in a location under the front bumper and not visible from standing or kneeling, we did not see them on pre-rental inspection. It seemed like a set up to me”.
Now sixt charged me 600+ euro for scratch under front bumper.

Exelente personal, nos ayudaron luego que nuestro carro fue robado y el vidrio roto. Luego de un largo día, nos ayudaron a cambiar el carro, amables y eficaces. Gracias igual a Marco que estaba en el la oficina principal. No tengo el nombre de la chica que nos atendió y el chico que rebudio pero muchas gracias… el lugar no es muy fácil de acceder pero la expérience fue muy buena.

Reservamos un coche para 6 personas y cuando fuimos a recogerlo era prácticamente un mini bus. Un vehículo demasiado grande que no entraba en ningún parking.
Cuando reservamos nos indicaron otro tipo de coche como un monovolumen.

Had great experience on my trip to Slovenia on 7/22. Rented a small car for 5 day trip, got free upgrade as my choice was not available. Car was Renault Clio with just few km driven. All I can say is that everything worked out smoothly. Fully insured and service 24h/7 (that I didn't need). Service at the counter was excellent. No flaws for me, just 5 stars

Since some of the reviews were quite shocking, I felt like I had to share my positive experience I had renting a car here in June 2022!
The servers of Sixt Europe were apparently down on the day we wanted to pick up our online reservation, so they had to fill out a new one by hand with the approximate price I told them. For the inconvenience, we got a lovely free upgrade (an almost brand new Cupra Fermentor) with no damages.
Upon returning, everything went very smooth, the rep saw that the car was still in great condition. However, I did not get a signed document or anything else to proof the condition I had returned the car in, so I had to specifically ask for it. I am not sure whether the guy simply forgot about it, but considering some of the reviews I would definitely suggest to get a signed copy of the vehicle check-in form, so no new damages can be charged later on.

I have rented from this location 4 times, all without problem, in fact the experience was really great, helpful staff, cars were fine, location for me was key. I always do a video walk around with the car when I pick it up, in the light or with flash on from my phone. It's fast easy and avoids disagreements as the videos are location and time stamped by Google or Apple. When I return the car I do the same thing, walk around film every side in detail, again date, time and location stamp. Once when I rented a car from a different company at Malpensa the video saved me claims as I saw the unmentioned scratch when I picked the car up, it was clear in the video and they did try, but failed. Far too often people (both renters and car company workers) miss damage and assume when they notice it, the damage was done by last user. Free phone video changes this and saved everyone trouble.

Tourist trap. Avoid this place at all cost.
We made no damage and the employee assured us everything was fine. Many months later we receive a random invoice demanding upwards of €350.
They send out a bunch of random invoices in hopes people will be scared into paying. Absolutely despicable. If you are in a similar situation, do NOT pay the bill. Don't let them get away with this.

Der Mitarbeiter war sehr professionell und freundlich. Das Auto super, ganz neu und sauber. Im Protokoll waren zwei kleine Schäden vermerkt und man hat mir gesagt, wie ich etwaige zusätzliche Schäden vor Antritt dokumentieren kann, damit sie nicht mir zugeschrieben werden. Bis dahin war ich sehr zufrieden. Bei der Rückgabe war nur ein Mitarbeiter vor Ort, der den Schlüssel entgegen nahm und mir sagte, das wäre alles, was man von mir braucht. Am nächsten Tag bekam ich eine Mail mit Bildern von einem Schaden (kleiner Kratzer am Übergang von Hintertür zum rechten hinteren Radkasten), zu dem ich mich äußern sollte und außerdem ein Rückgabeprotokoll mit vermerktem Schaden. Ich gab wahrheitsgemäß an, dass ich diesen Schaden nicht verursacht hatte. Er sah eher aus, als sei er bei der Reinigung des Fahrzeugs entstanden, es war in der Zwischenzeit durch Sixt geputzt worden. Es gab regen E-Mail Verkehr zwischen Sixt und mir. Am Ende musste ich den Schaden von 481 Euro!!! bezahlen, da der Mieter für alle Schäden verantwortlich zu sein scheint, die in der Zeit von der Abholung, bis Sixt das Rückgabeprotokoll erstellt (auch wenn das erst 4 Tage nach Rückgabe ist), entstehen. Unabhängig davon, ob man sie verursacht hat, oder nicht. Das ist extrem kundenunfreundlich und ich kann von diesem Verleiher nur abraten.

Another scamming machine. Upon the return of the car no employees were present (in the middle of the working day), since we had to travel to the airport soon, we had to use the drop off box, as we couldn't wait for them (we called them and they insisted to use the key drop off).
The car was left at their drop-off parking lot in excellent condition, however few days later we received a claim with a few photos that a scratch was made on the rear bumper. Upon the pick up car inspection (in a dark hangar) we haven't noticed it, and why would we if it is concealed by the trunk door (a good lesson, though), so obviously they blamed us for that, but here is the trick - we actually never used the trunk.
Our explanations weren't accepted, and AFTER the security deposit have been returned to me, SIxt organized a replacement for the bumper. Obviously, that was quite expensive, so we are now being bugged by reminders to pay back our 250 EUR of the liability limit.
I can't say whether we really missed that scratch or the employee made it by himself after we left, which seems to be most possible, the point is - be really careful, I'd say go for someone else or prepare all possible travel insurances before even contacting Sixt.

Inspect the car very carefully, every inch when you pick it up. My husband did not see a scratch less than 5 cm and received a bill for 225€.

Bitte niemals dort mieten, man wird betrogen! Ein großer Scam.
Es fand keine Wagenübergabe statt, man bekommt nur den Schlüssel. Bei Inspektion des Autos fiel mir bereits ein Schaden auf, der nicht vermerkt war. Also meldete ich diesen direkt. Das Auto war allerdings so dreckig, dass man Kratzer gar nicht sehen konnte.
Anschließend bei Wagenabgabe war dort niemand zu erreichen. Tage später bekam ich eine Meldung, dass ich angeblich einen Schaden verursacht hätte. Auf den Fotos wurden sämtliche Stellen auf der Motorhaube des Fahrzeuges von Dreck befreit, man hat bewusst nach etwas gesucht um Geld rauszuholen.
Und sie haben mir eine Frist von nur 3! Tagen gegeben, mich dazu zu äußern.
Nie wieder Sixt!
