A eviter !!! Nous avons réservé une voiture au Sixt de la gare de Ljubjana. Lors de l arrivée, 1 employé nous a pris en charge, un jeune plutôt sympathique Le premier point qui nous a surpris est qu il n y a pas eu d état des lieux de la voiture qui se trouvait dans un hangar sombre, nous avons tout de même regardé et inspecté partout la voiture au cas où Nous leur avons ramené dans l état exact avec lequel nous leur avons emprunté mais le 2nd point qui nous a surpris est qu il y a eu un état des lieux de voiture contrairement au jour de l emprunt : on a compris pourquoi, quand au bout de 2 minutes, l employé a trouvé un choc d une dizaine de centimètres en dessous la voiture indetectable lorsque nous avons récupéré le véhicule Quand nous lui avons fait comprendre que nous déclinions la responsabilité de cet impact, l employé nous a alors répondu, je cite: "vous, les français,de toutes façons, vous êtes assurés de partout" Quelle honte... Ce type de réflexion est scandaleuse et montre toute l ignorance et le mépris qu ont les employés Sixt vis a vis de leur client Inutile de préciser que je ne me rendrai plus vers cette compagnie et que je ne me priverai pas de faire savoir à ceux qui m entourent les méthodes + que douteuses de cette compagnie

Nos atendieron con mucha profesionalidad. Resolvieron todas nuestras necedidades a un precio asequible. Alquilamos un coche para 6 personas y su equipaje, con seguro y etiqueta de peaje y nos dieron un vehículo mejor por no disponer del requerido. Totalmente recomendable. Resuelven todas las dudas, te informa de las normas locales e incluso de posibles rutas turísticas.

We rented a car in this Sixt railway agency and returned out of opening hours. The day after we were contacted due to a scratch of 4cm in the front bumper that we didn't see at the time of returning the car. We didn't pay for the total insurance. Some days later we received a quote of 513€ (including taxes, agency fee etc) for repairing it. We complained about this disproportionate cost and then we requested budgets via internet to other autoservices in Ljubljana by our own. We obtained 4, the most expensive was 196€+tax, less than the half of what Sixt requested to us. We claimed again but the agency said that they follow their "official" autoservice. We called then to the customer service Slovenia and they told us they could not help us, just transmit our complaint to the damage department (the same that was chiting us with this quote of 513€). We have raised emails to the Sixt international customer service and also to the c.s. in our country, we have never received any response back from Sixt. This is a shame considering that we have the rights as customers to raise a claim and that this is at least responded by the company. Finally we had to pay this bill since they sent us a last email threatening that they would initiate legal actions against us. A real shame on how this office chits their clients and how Sixt ignorés they complaints.

Stay away. Or ensure the staff does a complete walkthrough including the underside of the car on rental and on return. Their rental and return process seems 'easy' but you may get assessed for damages after the fact. Crooks. Also they are unlikely to have the car you requested so there's that.

j'ai loué une voiture pour mon séjour en slovenie, lors de la réservation, l'agence nous a dit que nous pouvions rendre la voiture à n'importe quelle heure le dimanche sur un parking à proximité, ce que nous avons fait. Cependant, durant la nuit nous nous sommes fait voler les feux avant de la voiture et sixt nous a accusé d'avoir "casser" les feux et nous ont demandé de payer 400euro alors que nous n'avions rien fait. Je trouve cela scandaleux de nous dire que nous pouvons déposer la voiture, rendre les clés dans leur boite aux lettres sans nous avertir des risques sur ce parking! SIXT n'a rien voulu entendre et nous a demandé de payer sur des choses que nous n'avons pas comis. je ne prendrais plus de voiture par cette agence!

Similar to the review below, my rental was booked as and quoted for a one-way across countries but a fee was charged at the very end for "foreign use". I would think this could be included upfront knowing that the booking requires foreign use given the pickup/dropoff locations. You don't get a final bill when you return the car, you have to check the app/website sometime after. Also, I do not usually ever prepay for fuel, but I was assured at the counter that if I did, I would pay the local price of fuel with a 25% discount. The price I was charged after returning the car was closer to double the local price of fuel. We did enjoy the car itself (a newer Skoda Scala), and the location next to the rail station is very convenient for those who are arriving by train. Just be aware your quoted rate may change if booking across countries, and the prepaid fuel offered at the counter does not really come at a discount.
