Booked our rental online before arriving to the country and went to pick up the car without a hitch. The three gentleman who assisted us (Patrick, Alex, and Tilen) were phenomenal; they were friendly, professional, and extremely helpful in offering recommendations for places to visit in Slovenia. Would definitely recommend renting from here.

Had great time and experience renting last minute! We had a tough time to find a car locally, but Patrik V was very helpful and professional and made our weekend trip possible (even helped with vehicle upgrade). A three centimeter scratch on the rear bumper cost me 671 euro. Sixt agreed that it was "minor" and "cosmetic" and would likely not be fixed until the end of the car's rental life. When all other minor damage is fixed. Meaning that any money left over becomes profit for Sixt and is not refunded to the customer. Totally unreasonable and excessive. I doubt I will rent from Sixt again.

We had a really good experience with Sixt in both Portorož (pickup) and Ljubljana (drop off). The pickup was quick and guys took time to ensure we were well informed on car, travel and drop-off point. Our car broke down near Bovec which was unfortunate but Sixt had dispatched a new car almost immediately and had it to us in 2.5 hours, which I think was impressive given they had to drive 2 hours to get to us. Drop off was good too. It was really nice that there were Sixt employees at each end (not hire car agencies which is often the case for Sixt’s competitors). I will definitely use them again.

Tilen (spero di aver scritto correttamente il nome del gentile impiegato istriano) è stato gentilissimo veloce e professionale. Inoltre visto che il modello da noi scelto non era disponibile abbiamo ricevuto un upgrade gratuito a un veicolo top di gamma praticamente nuovo. Prezzi veramente competitivi e semplice servizio di restituzione portando le chiavi H24 alla reception dell'adiacente hotel. Tutto perfetto.

Tilen was really great. He worked with me and made everything comfortable and easy. I don't know why people are leaving bad reviews. It helps to book in advance and be able to answer if they call to make sure everything runs smoothly. Good prices as well.

Worst car rental experience ever. We rented a car from Sixt, and the initial damage list reported several scratches on multiple wheels, so I didn’t think much of it and didn’t take any pictures. After returning the car, they claimed that there was a new scratch on one wheel, and sent me a bill for €270. For a scratch on a wheel! That was probably already there! These people clearly take advantage of their customers. I will never use Sixt again.
