Take pictures, take pictures, TAKE PICTURES! I'd read before traveling to Europe that it's pretty common practice for them to pin you with damage fees that were not caused by you. So we took thorough photos of the car at pick up and drop off. Within 30 minutes of the car being returned, we recieved an email stating the damage done to the car and saying we were responsible. We asked them to send us a photo of the damage to which we responded with our photo from pick up which showed the damage was already there. Damage that we had told them about. Damage they had said they had documented. Because we had time stamped photos, they apologized and that was the end of it. HOWEVER, based on the reviews this seems to be their norm so DO NOT drive off the lot until you've taken photos of the entire car.

Their business model is not renting you cars, it's scamming you for money after you return them. They will find damage on the car and claim that it was you then send you an extortionate bill. Avoid this company at all costs they are a bunch of fraudsters. ZERO STAR COMPANY.
