Myself and my girlfriend took Cefizelj for 5 days, travelling around Slovenia, Croatia and Italy. We had an amazing time and the van had absolutely no issues throughout! Sara and Nate couldn’t have been more helpful throughout, replying to queries quickly and even giving us recommendations of places to go! We cannot recommend them enough and hope to be back again soon!

My friend and I got the Babita van. Not knowing it was a manual on booking (tip: most cars/vans in Europe as manual unless specified otherwise) we were off to a rocky start as neither of us could drive it. However Miha (owner of Babita) took us to get a coffee and went above and beyond to ensure our week wasn’t ruined. We ended up having an amazing time in the van thanks to Miha. Sara was also a pleasure and very helpful. A very trustworthy business with safe and supportive team. We highly recommend.

We rented Vucko for a few days around Slovenia. Vucko is the cutest car ever and we had an absolute blast driving it around the country. Already missing it a lot. On top its fuel consumption is so low!The team of Balkan Campers is amazing, very helpful, super smooth communication, 5+ star service.

This was our first time renting a van through Balkan Campers and we couldn't recommend them enough! Communication was brilliant and we were given lots of recommendations for events and places to stay for our time in Slovenia. We will definitely be using Balkan Campers again and are already planning our next road trip!

It was very uncomplicated to book, pick-up and bring back the camper. The contact was reliable and fun to talk to and it was also a pleasure to see that they are loving their jobs. The camper that we got, was a pure reflection of that dedication and it was an amazing trip, as the camper was maintained perfectly, and we could entirely focus on the journey. 10/5 stars if possible and next year definitely again.

These campers are a must when travelling through the Balkan countries! The service is excellent and they make sure you have all you need to make it a nice trip. If anything goes wrong you can also reach them quickly. I would definitely recommend them!

Wij hebben camper Bor gehuurd voor 10 dagen in Slovenië. We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad. Alles werkte goed en verliep perfect. De eigenaar Miha is heel vriendelijk en het contact verliep soepel. Hij reageert snel en was heel flexible in het afleveren en inleveren qua tijden. Wij zouden zeker aanraden om een camper van te huren via Balkancampers!

Best choice! The camper (Bibita) was perfect : smooth driving, clean, good matras,... We slept comfortable with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Miha, the rental guy, was so chill and helpfull. Easy pickup and dropoff, in a way that gave us immediately comfort and trust. We had no issues, but I guess that if a problem occurs, Miha is the guy that will save you!

Super expérience en van 18 jours avec notre petit bout de 3 ans ! On avait le Vilko un van tout terrain au top pour tout les chemin accidenté, il est spacieux et facile à prendre en main. On a récupéré et rendu le van a deux endroits différents et c'était très flexible concernant l'heure et l'endroit. Miha a été très réactif lorsque nous en avons eu besoin. Parfait pour la Croatie, impossible de se garer en nature dans le parc national en Slovénie mais ça doit pouvoir se faire plus facilement dans l'est. A une prochaine !

My friends and I stayed in Dugme for 8 days traveling around the west of Slovenia and down to Croatia. It was the perfect size for the three of us and had everything you need for a road trip and camping, both in the mountains and by the coast. Josip was super friendly and attentive - always quick to respond and helpful. We are already planning to come back to explore more of Slovenia and wouldn't hesitate to get Dugme or another balkan camper again.

This was my second time in a few years with Balkan Campers, and we had a blast. Vilko ran like a champ (no issues), and gave us access to some pretty special campsites across Bosnia and Croatia. The Balkan Campers team is great - super communicative, supportive, and the van was set up with everything we needed. We'll be back for another season!

Amazing experience! From pickup until return it was a really great experience. They were super flexible and helpful during the entire time. They explained everything around using the van very well. The van itself (we rented Bibita) was in a good condition and had everything we needed. Everything worked smoothly.

Traveling with Tara was one of the most unique and wonderful experiences I've had to date. In 2 weeks we travelled 3400km from Slovenia Croatia Bosnia Montenegro Albania and back without any problems. The car is well taken care of and nothing was missing during the whole trip. I traveled with a friend and both of us are 190cm and we both fit very comfortably and slept well in the car. Nejc was extremely helpful, providing us with advice on where to go and what to see, you can really trust his recommendations. Furthermore he is very responsive to texts and eager to help.

Girls roadtrip with Dugme “Furam 86” We did a short, 5 day trip with our van Dugme and visited three countries - Slovenia, Italy and Croatia. Dugme was quite a character - it is not always easy to handle three girls, but he did well – he might be a van but has a personality big as a bus! 😊 We loved the whole experience, from little details that make you smile (such as little bag of nostalgic goodies) to the fact that it was fully equipped with fridge, water, dishes, outdoor chairs. This was definitely a different kind of trip – you have to take it a bit easier, take the local roads and take little coffee breaks but we really loved that, since you see a lot of things in different perspective. and we still did a very nice route (Radovljica-Kranjska Gora-Predil lake- Bovec-Kobarid-Nadiža-Cividale del Friuli-Grado-Motovun--Črni Kal). Overall, a fantastic experience and we created a lot of great memories – thank you Balkan camper and Dugme!

We have absolutely loved our time driving our Balkan Campers van - Dugme, around beautiful Slovenia! Dugme’s owners, Josip and Tina have been incredibly helpful, providing us with absolutely everything we could need for our 5 day trip including our very own personalised itinerary- thank you so much!!! Dugme came fully equipped with cooking utensils, salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee etc… making cooking in the van super easy and fun! Slovenia is such a wonderful country to explore by van because of all the amazing views and brilliant campsites! Jerry, the van we rented from Balkan Campers for a road trip through Bosnia and Croatia, made for one of the best vacations we've ever had. Starting the old VW van was like pressing pause on everyday problems and taking life at a slower pace. Nejc and Sara were incredibly friendly, trustworthy, and eager to answer any questions we had. Josip, Jerry's owner, was equally friendly and reliable, always available when we needed him. The team even suggested some great sights to see along the way. Jerry, with its ample space for two people, large fridge (for a van), and standing height, proved to be a great travel companion. We had a blast driving it, and were surprised how smooth and reliable an old VW van can be. We would have given Balkan Campers 6 stars if we could, and we will absolutely rent from them again!

We rented Dugme with Balkan Campers in April. We had a great time driving this camper around Slovenia for 5 days. Before our trip, I communicated with Sara to ask some questions and she responded very quickly by email. Then, during our trip, we were in touch with Josip who met us in Ljubljana to pick up and drop off the van. Josip always answered any questions we had while on the road. When we told him we were rock climbers, he suggested some places where we could go. Josip also offered olive oil, jams, and other goods that his family makes which certainly sounded delicious! He was flexible with the time that we could pick and drop off Dugme, which we appreciated a lot. I'm really glad that we chose to take this mode of transport for our trip to Slovenia. We have taken road trips and camped in America, but never in a van so this was a new experience for us. Dugme can't go on the express ways or highways so we took the side roads which were all well maintained, better than most roads in America! He takes some time to get used to driving but after a day we felt comfortable. I am a small woman so it was difficult to reach the pedals but with some improvisations, I could do it. Dugme was in great condition and we didn't have any issues with him while on the road. Dugme was also comfortable to sleep in. We rented a bedding set when we made the camper van reservation. We brought 1 blanket more with us and we were warm enough at night (when it was down to 40F/4C). I highly recommend others to take Dugme on your next roadtrip and visit Slovenia. I'm sure we would have had a great trip no matter what, but this made our experience exceptionally memorable.
