We booked three separate day trips with Slovenia Explorer. At our request, the guides (Nina and Martin respectively) picked us up from our hotel just after 9am and took us to to spend the days at Lake Bled, Piran and a wine estate, Zlati Grič, in Slovenske Konjice. At our request, we kept things flexible, had great lunches at really nice venues and were dropped back to the hotel around 5pm. Both guides understood what we wanted to do and did not push us to do more than we intended. They were fluent in English and gave us a good understanding of the country, its culture and of the places we visited. I fully recommend this Agency. Bookings were easy and were done with Agency Representative Urška, initially by phone and then by email.P

Exceptional day visiting the « must-see » attractions outside Ljubljana. Great guide (and calm and safe-driving) too. Showed up right on time and brought us back happy. Guide was very knowledgeable about Slovenia history and very interested to learn about the history and culture of his clients. Don’t hesitate. They were also super helpful and easy to communicate with before and after the tour.

We arranged an extensive tour that showed us parts of Slovenia we would never have discovered ourselves. Our tour guide Urska was an amazing driver and very knowledgeable with the history of the areas we visited . Our highlights were the climb up to kolovrat and the Italian WW1 trenches and tolmin gorge . We also really enjoyed the lepa Vida wine tasting experience. An experience we will never forget and our gracious host made it extra special. Thank you Slovenia explorer team for a magical experience we will remember forever.

we did an one day slovenia day trip last year and had a very pleasant experience. we decided to come back here again. we contacted the tour operator directly and customized our week long stay in slovenia. they were very helpful and professional. we were concerned about the weather, and they were able to modify last minute. our tour guide tomi was fantastic. we really enjoyed our stay in slovenia this time and would definitely recommend people using this tour company.

I was travelling solo and had taken the trip to Lake Bled and Triglav National Park organised by Slovenia Explorer, which turned out to be a fantastic experience. The person who handled my booking was very kind and helpful. On the day of the trip, our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable, making us aware of all the historical insights and various details about Slovenia. We had a tour from Ljubljana to lake Bled, lake Bohinj etc.. with an exceptional driver and tour guide (two in one person) Nina. She was so good driver and told us so many things about the places we went, Slovenia and their history. We was 5 people in our group and all of us very satisfied from this tour and our guide. I traveled solo to Slovenia last July and booked several day trips with Slovenia Explorer. Every single one was fantastic. The booking office was responsive and helpful, and the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to enter sites such as Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle with no hassle or waiting. There were also zero gimmicks; the trips were solely focused on experiencing Slovenia. The transit vans kept the groups small and intimate and allowed for fast and convenient travel. I made "friends for the day" from all over the world, so I didn't feel alone on my trip. Not having to worry about the logistics allowed me to focus on the natural beauty in this gem of a country, and the guide commentary enriched my experience.

A very disappointing experience. We booked them for the Postojna Caves and the Predjama Castle and they charged us thrice the amount for just the transportation and we had to buy the tickets ourselves. They told us it was going to be a private tour and it wasn't. We felt like we were scammed. Do not book them until you get an absolute confirmation on what is included and what isn't.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to go on one of their tours as they were sold out, but I thought their customer service was so excellent in recommending alternative options that they deserved a review. Hope I can go on a tour with them on my next visit to Slovenia!

Slovenia explorers and especially Urska did a amazing job planning a 16 day tour of Italy and Slovenia for us. From the very beginning Urska was very prompt in answering all my emails. She planned everything for us from hotels to tours. We had many private local guides and a few small group tours. We had a driver/guide George, who was wonderful. He was with us in Italy. He made sure we had everything we wanted. We really enjoyed his company!!! We spent 4 days in Slovenia with a guide named Martin who was amazing, teaching us a lot about this country. We went to Florence, Pisa, Genoa, Milan, Verona, the Dolomites, the Julian Alps, Lake Bled, Ljubljana, Slovenian coast, Trieste, Venice, Padua, Ravenna and Bologna. I can’t begin to describe how perfect this trip was. There was not a thing I would change. Thanks for a perfect trip

My family and I took a tour with Reza through Slovenia Explorer Tours. I cannot express my appreciation to Reza and the tours. We felt like a family member was showing us around their favorite places. We got intimate view of Slovenia that left us wishing we had stayed 2-3 more days and had gone to east Slovenia, too. We started our morning white water rafting which was fun and amazing. We visited Lake Bled and went swimming- again, I think we could have spent a full day at Lake Bled alone. Reza introduced us to wonderful desserts and restaurants. We also learned the history of Slovenia from Reza. We cannot express our appreciate enough to Reza and Slovenia Explorer Tours.

Slovenia Explorer Tours provided us with a private guide for two days plus a meet and greet and return to the airport.They were excellent and our guide Tomaz was a "real gem" For our tour in Ljubljana he explained the city and its history and in particular the architecture of the city.He also paid special attention to the daily life of the markets.He made the city come to life and explained very well all our questions For our second day we visited Lake Bled the Island and the Castle and the this tour was equally well managed and explained by Tomaz who spent most of the day with us albeit that it was a half day tour. We thoroughly recommend Slovenia Explorer give them 10 out of 10, they made us feel secure and confident in a new City. We intend to use them again to explore more of Slovenia at a later date. A great way to learn about Slovenian culture en route to spectacular experience at both Skocjan cave and Piran. Guide was flexible about our schedule per group preference, shared unique knowledge and side routes. Long day by the clock but never, ever rushed and returned to hotel relaxed and satisfied!
