Great day tour to the coast of Slovenia with a visit to UNESCO site caverns on the way. . At our request a visit to a winery was added to the return trip. The visit to Lepa Vida winery was one of the best I have ever done, with a delightful food layout and wonderful presentation by the owner. Our guide went the extra mile to provide a nice experience.

About six months ago I started planning a 13 day trip for our group of friends ( 14 people). Upon a detailed search I came upon Slovenia explorer web site. I was planning a trip from Austria to Salzburg, Lublijana , Venice, Garda lake and ending our trip in Florence Italy. ( and other stops along the way. Urska helped me plan everything in detail from tours in each city, how much Time we spent at each stop and even restaurant reservations . Gregory who is the owner of the company a well travelled individual , who has written couple of amazing books accompanied us on this trip. Needless to say the trip went seamlessly, the locations were beautiful and magical the tour guides at each location knowledgeable and fluent in English . Our bus Driver Addis guided us through narrow mountain roads with ease and patience. I would recommend this company 100% to anybody who wants to travel in this part of Europe or any destination they can take you. Thank you again for this memorable journey.

Lake Bled and Triglav National Park

Today we did the Postjona cave, Predjama Castle, and Lake Bled day tour from 8:30 am to 6 pm. It was one of the best tours we have ever taken. The tour guide, Alenka, was amazing! She was friendly, helpful, kind, so knowledgeable, and fun. We learned so much about Slovenia, the history, the places we visited. She also is a sommelier, so she talked about wines and recommended places to eat. The Cave was magnificent, so huge, and there's a small creature there that grows nowhere else in the world. The Predjama Castle is so cool, it was built on the rock of a cave. Lake Bled and Castle is just a fairytale, so beautiful. If you go, just remember to bring cash ($18 EU) for the boat trip to the island. No engines are allowed on the lake, so someone rows you there and back. We had such a great time and enjoyed absolutely gorgeous views. Alenka made the day go perfectly and it didn't even seem too long. We strongly recommend this tour and ask for Alenka, you won't regret it, she's great!

Perfect tour to Triglav National Park and Bohinj area. There were only 3 of us plus the guide, we enjoyed this small group a lot, our guide Alenka was super nice and helpful. The places were amazing, there were absolutely no errors the whole day. Definitely recommend them.

Had an amazing 2 day tour experience with Slovenia Explorer Tours. They are very prompt answering to inquiries and cater to your needs. The tour van is comfortable. Highly recommended tours especially for first timers. Special thanks to Branko and Karin for the wonderful time. I stayed at Hotel Mrak, in Ljubljana, Nina the hotel manager,immediately got Urska from Slovenian Explorer on the phone for me. From there Urska emailed me the trip and availability, a day before the trip, she sent me an email and said the mobile credit machine was acting up, however Urska provided a secure link (like PayPal) and I was able to pay for the day trip, at the time it was 98 Euro's. Pickup was on time and it turned out that the driver/guide her name was Nina as well, Nina is a safe driver and a wonderful tour guide, pleasant and professional to talk with. I highly recommend Slovenia Explorer Tours for several reasons: the operator Gregor is very easy and excellent to deal with (fast communication, seamless booking via phone, great instruction for meeting points), the tours themselves are very well organised with fantastic tour guides/drivers, clean and comfortable small-group vans, and information given in advance about extra payments so you are prepared with cash or card. I did two day tours with this operator (Slovenia in One Day with Tomasz, and Skocjan + Piran with Martin) and enjoyed both immensely.

Gregor and his team did everything possible to make the tour memorable. Their price is just awesome to what they provided. The Van is spacious and the guides are phenomenal. They make sure you cover everything in detail and in a comfortable way. They are supportive when it comes to choosing the add-ons and things that are really needed. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting slovenia without thinking more. Im sure no one can beat their service and itenary when it comes to price and execution. Sanda - Our Guide was just a cherry on the cake.
