Small salat appetiser bad tasting, tuna avocado tatar not salty at all and very mild taste, sushi not great, miso soup (4,5 eur) bad tasting, the algae taste was overwhelming, teriyaki chicken and beef udon was good but i got only five very small pieces of beef for 17 eur. Beer nothing special. Sake had a nice flavour but 10 eur per 1dl! Very pricey...

Mary Restaurant has been a fantastic experience for us. The variety of sushi, sashimi, and other dishes offers something for everyone, with each bite highlighting the quality and freshness of their ingredients. The sashimi, especially the tuna and salmon, is incredibly flavorful and fresh, and the uramakis are simply delicious. We were especially impressed by the tuna tartare, which was both tasty and well-prepared.

Very few options for sushi or other items. It's a small menu. Average to below average sushi. Extremely slow. 4 to 5 tables, 12 people in total, and we waited over an hour after getting drinks for a little bit of sushi. This is the third time we've been there and it's always the same, so I'm done with it. 2 stars at best. 1 star less because they charge a €2 sit down fee per person and I'll never support a restaurant with this fee. If your food is good, I'll pay for it. Places with a sit down fee usually have bad food, in my experience they always do.

Food was great. Soups and deserts were delicious, the vegan main course dish was a bit too sour for our taste. Overall it was a great experience! I absolutely recommend this to anyone!

V gostilni je lepo, malo čudna lokacija. Parking, ki je v bližini se plača kar je glede na lokacijo za pričakovati. Nisem ljubitelj japonske hrane, šel sem zaradi hčerke, ki obožuje suši. Jedel sem rezance, bili so dobri vendar nič zelo posebnega. Žena je imela neko "juho" z zelenjavo, rezanci in piščancem. Meni je bila zanič. Za 4 letnika smo vzeli nekaj kar je izgledalo kot košček mesa in krompir. Meso je bilo izredno okusno, najboljši obrok od vsega. Suši je izgledal dobro, nisem ga probal. Natakar izredno profesionalen, ustrežljiv in ljubezniv. Vse lepo razloži. Pircije takšne, da se seveda nihče ni najedel. Cena zasoljena, po moje če res niste ljubitelj in poznavalec ne hodite tja ker enostavno ni vredno svoje cene. Plačali smo 93€, od tega je bil 8€ "pogrinjek", ki je bil v resnici prtiček in kamenček pobran s struge Save. Torej bil tam, videl, pojedel, plačal in nikoli več. Kljub temu ne morem odsvetovati obiska vsem, ki so ljubitelji te hrane ali se želijo slikati za Instagram v "fancy" gostilni. Vsem ostalim pa pojdite raje v kitajsko restavracijo in se pošteno in dobro najejte za polovično ceno.

Not sure what type of restaurant they are trying to be, Japanese or Asian fusion, yet they are matching none... Food: Chicken salad, just green salad with no dressing probably a spoon of rice vinegar and chicken which was beautifully crispy but no spice/taste whatsoever, not even salty, overall felt poor/bland. Medium grilled duck, served on a purée, completely bland, total miscombo, sweet with sweet, soft meat with purée, thus neither texture contrast nor taste contrast. River fish with fried algae, overly oily, again sweet fish served with sweet walnut puree and grilled zucchini (at least this was neutral in taste but again oily) and sweet red beat... Not sure what the chef is trying to achieve? 🤷🏻♂️ Unfortunately this was far from Asian cuisine in which taste and textures should be in balance. Service and ambiance was really nice though.

The food needs to be so much better. With rolls, rice is falling apart all over. It is also necessary to work on taste. Nothing special overall.
