Four adults and one 9-year old went for a sushi, but they talk you into taking a full course meal because "they are not a sushi bar". Leaving the restaurant we were hungry (like we were on somekind of degustation) and spent 150€ (didn't even bother with the desert). The tastes were (just) ok, but definately not worth the price. So...if you are thinking of going there just for a sushi...please don't. Overrated and overpriced.

This is one of, if not the best Japanese restaurants you can find in Slovenia. The food is authentic, unique and tasteful. Not sure why people are complaining about the prices, it suits the standard and the quality you get. Also the people are very professional amd kind. Looking forward to come back.

The food is very tasty but a bit pricey, the waiter was very nice and professional. We loved the desserts. The ambient and layout is unique and comfortable although the location, as many people have pointed out, is a bit unusual. We enjoyed our experience and will probably come back again.

The second best (in my opinion) Japanese restaurant in Ljubljana. I took my boyfriend for dinner on his birthday to Maru and we had a great experience. Amazing staff with great knowledge and recommendations on combining flavours. My most favorite dish was tuna tartare. I find the prices moderate.
