We arrived in Ljubljana in the evening quite hungry, so we ventured out and after struggling to pick a place because many were busy we chose Harat’s, though the menu was a bit small. The waitress seemed nice at first, she came out to tell us shortly after my partner ordered at the bar that there was absolutely no more white wine which we had ordered, as the mulled wine is so popular that they run out of all wine. She said you’ve already paid so is there another drink you’d both like, maybe a cocktail? At this point it came across as if whatever we chose was fine as they made a mistake and it would be on the house basically, even if it cost a little bit more. We ordered Jameson and Coca Cola. Our food came out and for the most part it was quite delicious however fries weren’t even warm really, burger was nice and the onion rings tasted like ones you cook from a frozen bag in the supermarket. We were quite happy though until we were a couple of minutes from getting up to leave and the waitress returned, telling us we have to pay for the drinks we got instead of wine. We were kind of surprised but who can be bothered arguing in a situation like this? I asked if we can pay by card and she said “well you can but I know your partner has 10 euros in his wallet” which I thought was a bit rude and unprofessional. She also implied she was kind of doing us a favour because to right the bill it would have been 10,80 but she was only asking for 10. Also where I’m from, cocktails are usually the most expensive drink on the menu so unless it’s different here, I felt uncomfortable like the waitress had tried to get us to order the most expensive type of drink on the menu when we couldn’t have wine, with plans to collect the money later without discussing payment immediately which would have been much more appreciated. The whole experience made us regret going to the Irish Pub and I can’t recommend it.

We visited Ljubljana in the summer this year and this pub quickly became our favourite. We went there almost every evening during our stay. Very friendly staff, ggod pub food and an amazing atmosphere in the evening. Should we be in Ljubljana again is this pub definitely a must visit.

The ordering process is somewhat confusing - the menu is a QR code, but you have to go inside to order. Not too complicated once you know what to do. The food was good, but they charged quite a bit for mixed drinks. That seems to be a norm in this city. Oh well! When in Slovenia … bring your wallet 😂

In potem ob nemogoči ćefurski muziki mahajo kelnerji z nemogočimi ćefurskimi zastavami. BOJKOTIRAJTE!!!!!!!! Ko sem sem se pa pritožil, da mi njihov odnos ni všeč, mi je nesramna kura od kelnerce pokazala izhod in mi zabrusila "Tam so vrata!" Še pred tem mi je pa zaračunala 6,60€ za pivo. Halo?

The day we went it wasnt crowded but still noone came to pick up our food order so we came to the bar ourselves. The burger meat came too raw and when we asked if they could take it back to cook some more they did but first told us that its standard to get it like that... we visited many Harats and this never happened. Ruined the mood a lot. Music was too loud.

Really nicely furnished pub in the centre of Ljubljana. Good music, very nice waiters. The Guinness was perfectly poured and tasted good. We didn't eat anything. If you like drinking beer, you can enjoy 2-6 beers :) in a cool atmosphere. They haven't seen the last of me. Sláinte mhaith

My friends and I were looking forward to immersing ourselves in the wonderful atmosphere of an Irish pub, but some things spoiled our mood: 1) Slow staff, forgetting orders, had to remind them several times. It's not obvious that if you sit at a table, you won't be served, or if you will, it'll be very slow. You need to stand at the cashier near the bar counter right away to place your order. Very strange system. 2) With such a system, it turned out that we ordered additional drinks (after having already ordered food), but the waitress did not bring the order, and we went to order through the bar ourselves. However, it turned out that she included this unfulfilled order in our total bill. It gives the impression that the staff is either distracted, inexperienced, or does this intentionally, betting that people who have been drinking won't notice the discrepancy in the bill. 3) Terribly loud music! A pub is about socializing, but when the music is turned up so loud that you have to shout in your companion's ear, it's trash! It then becomes a nightclub, not a pub, but we came not to dance but to enjoy tasty beer and converse.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Pub im Zentrum von Ljubljana. Passende Musik, viele Spiele die man ausleihen und nutzen kann. Das Bier war sehr lecker wir haben das House Craft Beer getrunken. Das Essen war Pub üblich in Ordnung, müsste ich aber nicht nochmal haben. Wer genüsslich 2-3 Bier in cooler Atmosphäre trinken will, ist hier aufjeden Fall richtig. Wir kommen sicher auf ein Bierchen zurück.

Me and my group were looking for a nice place to listen to some music and get a drink. At a glance, Harat’s appeared to be everything we hoped for. Nice decor and menu full of pictures with english descriptions. I couldn’t find an entertainment line up on line, but luckily there was a performance that started shortly after we arrived. Overall, i would say it was a decent experience but there were a few things we didn’t enjoy. Seating: First we expected the pub to be busy and crowded. Thats natural for any pub, and it includes bumping rubbing against people to move around. Consequently, when we walked in with our group of four. It took a bit to seat ourselves. However, what i noticed was a couple occupying a table for a group of 4 to 6 people. In my opinion, large tables should have a sign that reads “reserved for groups of X to X”. Additionally, on the left side of the room there was plenty of space to walk around. Conversely the right side was tight. Theres an opportunity there to evenly distribute the chairs on both sides. This way all the patrons get that good ole pub feeling throughout room. Ordering: Food and drinks have to be ordered at the cashier. Which is understandable for this type of business. Although, an order here sign would help. We found ourselves standing in the wrong spot to order at first. Then you have to yell or point at what you want to order. But, once again its a pub and should be expected. The staff were really nice though and spoke english well. Volume: The volume was way too loud for a pub. It reminded me of being next to the speaker at a club. Typically, there is a lot of noise at a pub from all the conversations happening. However, it was really hard to have a conversation over the music. Food: The food was our biggest disappointment. The presentation from the menu to the table couldn’t have been any better. However, of everything we ordered we only liked the cheese and bacon fries, and mozzarella sticks The rest of our food was decent to not good. The beef medallions tasted like they were boiled, and there was no flavor. The chicken wings also lacked flavor. The truffle fries were soggy. Finally, the cheese balls just had a weird creamy bread texture. Overall, the food left of us with regret. The one good thing is that it came out fairly fast. Overall, the establishment has the potential to host a great experience. However, at the moment i would only recommend it for a quick beer.
