After a very disappointing dinner at a local Mexican restaurant, we were in need of something to lift our spirits - alcoholic spirits should help here. Luckily, we found a free table at the Kolibri Cocktail Bar! The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable, the ambience of the bar was quite nice and they could even make a lot of drinks that weren't on the menu. The drinks, though, are a bit more complicated to rate since some of them were really good and others only okay. Still, we had a really good time here.

Absolutely amazing cocktail bar! Their collection of cocktails are really unique and the ones I had were some of the best I‘ve had. I‘d recommend getting the St. James Gate. Also it‘s a very sweet location with a view on the castle and the staff is very friendly

By far one of the best cocktail bars I’ve experienced worldwide. We came on a Monday in the golden hour and were enamoured with the service, the atmosphere and the drinks. To start with the bartender/mixologist is incredible. Furthermore, there is an exciting menu ~ the choice of drinks is assisted by the empathy and telepathy of the mixologist. Thirdly, the ambience of the furniture and decor are tastefully set in a dark, luxurious bohemian style and the location is close to the beautiful riverfront on a delightful hidden laneway overlooking the castle. We enjoyed sitting in the garden courtyard, filled with plants and were captivated by the charming bartender! You will never forget your first experience at Kolibri. I can’t wait to come again tomorrow night and every week from now on!

Prikupen majhen lokal, opremljen z okusom :) osebje izjemno prijazno! Slaba stran je to, da so mize toliko skupaj, da tudi če bi šepetali bi slišali kaj se za mizo zraven pogovarjajo. Drugače pa vse pohvale :)

The best cocktail bar I've been to in ages. Selection of really well curated cocktails with unique ingredients that combine to make the most delicious drink. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming which really made our night! Special mention to Kian who was the font of all knowledge when it came to the ingredients in each cocktail - and for letting us sample drinks before committing to them. What he didn't know wasn't worth knowing! Such a relaxed, friendly and welcoming vibe in a unique, sophisticated setting - everything about this place is sheer quality. Not to be missed if you're in Ljubljana ❤️

Kian was the loveliest barman I’ve ever met….a real Tom Cruise, he made us feel so comfortable and helped us with our cocktail choices, knowledgeable, informative and more importantly the kindest, friendliest man. The cocktails were some of the best i’ve tasted, I recommend the clarified milk punch :)

Me and my boyfriend went to kolibri on our last day of trip in Ljubljana. The bartender Kian, who was also our waiter took the time to explain us the menu and suggested us drinks based on our preferences, despite being alone in the bar. The cocktails he made for us were amazing and we had a great time and experience. Can’t wait to visit this place in our next trip to Slovenia.

Malo mesano. Nekateri koktejli dobri, drugi zanic, alkohol je sicer kvaliteten. Poleti je super terasa, notri pa je pozimj nabito polno (skoraj ze neudobno), s postrezbo imam zelo mesane izkusnje - poleti dobre izkusnje, zadnja zelo slaba (natakarici je bilo prakticno odvec karkoli razloziti, priporociti).

Po treh letih res dobrih izkusenj veliko razocaranje :( Povprecni cocktaili po pretirani ceni, natakarica upravlja rezervacije v "polno zasedenem" lokalu tako, da je pol miz uro praznih... Ce kdo od lastnikov bere - skoda, da tako delate in mogoce bi se bilo smiselno malo posvetiti upravljanju, ce ze hocete imeti prestizen lokal.

Well this place is on another level. It is a small boutique bar with amazing cocktail selection. This place offers the best cocktail experience by far. The best thing is that it is quiet and classy but delivers on service. Don't go here to party, but go here with good company and just enjoy the drinks. I was left speechless after the first sip.
