Competent staff, reasonably stocked but pricey bar, horrible acoustics. Good for a night out, but not recommended for concerts. Edit to respond to the owners question: The Deathstars concert recently was quite probably the worst sound experience I had in my life. To put that in perspective: I'm 46. I do understand that the long and narrow space is hard to manage acoustically, so I could forgive the incredibly harsh sound at the stage in the beginning, which was corrected after I notified the mixing table; they probably could not hear it. But there was also the matter of microphone feedback: it took almost half the show for the lead singer to finally be heard on his mike and the back vocalist was pretty much cut off throughout the concert. The frustration of the band was palpable. I'm no expert on what needs to be done, but this is a problem and it needs to be solved.

Dear Mr.Franci Kopač, can you help us and explain on which concert In Orto with horrible acoustic you where present.Nobody in 29. years of Orto never complain about acoustic and we allways try to make it really good. So please help us with constructive and detailed comments on what is wrong with acoustic. Thank you in advance and best regards. Edit to respond Mr.Franci Kopač I talked with our sound manager and in the case of The Deathstars , the band has his own sound manager so everything what was wrong was his fault not the fault of the club or equipment. We mixed only the first band and how was that? This place is a joke. They bring in an ABBA Tribute band, and have you wait for almost an hour before the concert starts, instead of at the announced time. Then, the band shows up and two women start singing and their microphones don’t work. So, no vocals for an ABBA concert, except for the audience singing. You go to the back and tell a guy the mics are off. He just looks at you, and replies he’s in charge of the lights. Of course, the sound guy is nowhere in sight. Never coming back, that’s for sure.

Opravičujemo se za nevšečnosti. Band je imel v celoti svojo opremo, ki pa je zatajila. Zato je bilo potrebno rešiti zadevo na odru in uspešno smo jo rešili. Koncert je bil izveden v celoti in kvalitetno. Band se tudi sam odloči kdaj točno bo pričel z igranjem glede na dolžino svojega programa in igrali so polni dve uri.
