The place is overall nice but I don't understand the hype around it. It's way too popular, I couldn't sit on Saturday morning to have breakfast because there was a queue, and this place was recommended by everyone I met in Ljubljana. But when I managed to find a seat the next day, the food was good, a lot of breakfast options, but it's like nothing special. Just normal food.

This is not a good place for gluten free diets as some have pretended. The menu specifies the allergens, but that’s all. Having some gluten free bread slices to go with your omelet isn’t a big effort. The bread isn’t even home made, they didn’t even manage to toast it at least. So once and for all, let me confirm that there are no specifically adapted recipes and products for gluten free people.

Today I have visited this restaurant, and I must say, it left an incredible impression! The highlight for me was their signature Le Petit Coffee – it’s not just coffee, it’s a masterpiece. The flavor was rich and deep, and I can’t stop thinking about it. I also tried the eggs with puchi, topped with truffles. Honestly, I had never tried truffles before, and it was such a unique and memorable experience. Their aroma and taste added a touch of sophistication to the dish – truly something special! What I really loved is how everything here feels exclusive. The dishes are nothing like what you’d find in other cafes, even the flavors are distinct. For instance, their coffee with cream – the cream is clearly of premium quality, nothing like the store-bought kind. You can taste the difference instantly. If you’re looking for something extraordinary and truly delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant! They know how to surprise and delight with their food.

Loved this cozy little spot for a leisurely lunch. Started with a St. Germaine Gin & Tonic to cool off following hours of walking in the sun. Chose a meal of local cuisine & finished with an incredibly rich hazelnut banana chocolate cake & espresso. The waiter humored my poor attempts to pronounce the Slovenian words & was attentive during my visit. Great vibe, excellent meal!

Came here for breakfast and was not disappointed. There was nothing “different” about the food here, but just classics done well, if that’s what you’re looking for. My favourite was the gratinated eggs royale, but the bagel was delicious too. Lovely rustic interior, and the outside was packed. They seemed understaffed and food took a little while, but the staff were pleasant and friendly.

An excellent place! Came here with friends for breakfast. Very polite and lovely personnel, allowed us to move the tables so that our big group could take a sit. The meal and coffee were served professionally and tasted awesome. The price absolutely correlates with quality and still was not so high. Would like to come here again, wonderful place. The food is really good, delicious. We've had two main courses: chicken and salmon. Chocolate souffle for dessert, unfortunately it was stale and not liquid at all. Prices are rather on the expensive side. The waiting is ridiculously long given that we were the only clients there that didn't order just coffee or tea.

The ambient is really nice and when you look at the food it look really good. But then it only gets worse. The food is bland and with every dish I had a feeling that something is either missing or that something should be done differently. Like it was to heavy or it could use some fresh herbs. I was looking forward to eating at Le petit cafe for a long time and I am sure that now that I have, I'll never come back again.

Lovely and charming little french style cafe with a great food selection and it's delicious! As are the cappuccinos! The staff is very nice :) I will be very happy when I get to go back.

Well … as much as we love this place, the service is really sad. Nobody greets you when you enter, one waiter is sneezing without covering his face, you are waiting for the menus … for me these are the basics that are not met. Food is good tho.
