Adriatic Sailing Trip from Split on Adriatic Leopard We recently had the pleasure of experiencing an unforgettable Adriatic sailing trip from Split aboard the stunning Adriatic Leopard catamaran, and we cannot recommend it enough! Captain Tomislav and hostess Eliza were nothing short of exceptional. They were not only highly professional and knowledgeable, ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the trip, but also incredibly accommodating and FUN! Their warm personalities truly elevated the experience and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped aboard. The sailing itself was smooth and relaxing, offering breathtaking views of Croatia’s stunning coastline. The catamaran was spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the journey. We felt completely safe in Captain Tomislav's capable hands, and Eliza made sure we were well taken care of throughout. The meals onboard were a highlight—delicious and thoughtfully prepared, showcasing local flavors and fresh ingredients. Dining on deck with the sea breeze and panoramic views was a truly special experience. We can’t say enough good things about this trip. What an experience!! If you are looking to charter a catamaran along the beautiful Croatian coast, look no further. We were lucky enough to experience the Lagoon 55 Tri-Wing captained by Toni and Mara. New, clean and well-appointed we were all very impressed. As nice is the accommodations were, the crew was even better! Toni and Mara are A++ and made our entire experience unforgettable. Professional and fun from start to finish. Food was amazing, we enjoyed snorkeling, sea-bobbing and tender rides along multiple stops – you won’t want to leave when it’s over. Thank you again!!

We had the most wonderful family vacation on the Tri-Wing in Croatia. Captain Toni and host Mara were amazing. They showed us the beauty of the islands and fed us the most delicious food. I highly recommend this charter. I can’t wait to do this trip again and hopefully I can arrange it with same outstanding crew!

Just spent a wonderful week aboard a catamaran in Croatia. So many beautiful ports and amazing meals. Our captain Ivor Zeman is the best. So many great suggestions on meals and entertainment. He thoughtfully made all of our reservations for us. We had one meal in particular at a family restaurant that will never be forgotten. Our hostess, Rafaela Vidic’ has the best personality and a is one of the happiest persons I have ever met. Our family was treated like family. Thank you Adriatic Sailing.

Dreadful company that charter out unsafe and unseaworthy boats. We chartered a newish 2023 Beneteau Oceanis 54 called Spring Song. We were about to leave on day 1 and checked the safety equipment only to find that there were no life jackets on board after being assured they were! Waited for an hour for new life jackets to be supplied. First evening about to dock and the bow thrusters failed! Next day the alternator and battery isolators all failed. Day after that with two forecasts of 14 knot winds (perfect for sailing) we hoisted the sails the wind increased so we decided to reef the mainsail that was more tricky than it needed to be as the main halyard jammer was sticky. Wind rose again to 24 knots so time to get the sails in. Guess what the main halyard jammer locked up and jammed as did the Genoa jammer and we battled for an hour trying to release the lines to get the sails in and now it is gusting up 36 knots and we find that the jammers are broken! We move to the lee of the land to get some shelter from the wind and have to cut the genoa free so we can furl it in and eventually get the main halyard free but have to climb the bottom of the mast with a boat hook to pull the mainsail in with the crew battling to keep the boat steady and safe. Day 4 we need four new big batteries as we have had constant alarms going off saying the batteries are still faulty! Day 5 while circulating in a port channel in 22 knot winds with other yachts awaiting our turn at the fuelling pontoon we loose forward gear and drive, it turns out it was a fault with the gearbox linkage!! This boat from Adriatic Sailing is a danger to those that sail it and other boat users ! These issues show that Adriatic Sailing do not maintain their boats they simply send them out untested on new charters. They may have swanky offices in Kastella Marina in Split but all they want is your money they do not worry about your safety. Oh yes and the waste tank guages were faulty as they showed empty when they were full! The air conditioning also failed!. Good luck every trying to get meaningful compensation as their standard practice is when you get back they crawl all over the boat to find a mark on the exterior or interior to counter any claim you make against them and they then use this to say they could withhold your deposit! Oh yes if they offer miserly compensation they want you to sign a legal document that says you will not ask for any further funds from them! On a point in their favour their engineers were reasonably prompt in getting to us each time but they don't carry spares so you have to wait a day or two after that to get things fixed. The jammers were broken and remained that way for the duration of our charter so we had to motor everywhere - not a great sailing experience. So we spent the week repairing Adriatic Sailings newish boat Spring Song. Avoid Adriatic Sailing do not charter from these guys!

The most amazing trip. Our captain was Ivor Zeman and our hostess was Rafaela Vidić and we could not have asked for a better crew. Every meal and recommendation exceeded expectations. We are so thankful and cannot wait to be back!!

Had the most amazing time with Adriatic Sailing. Can not recommend this company and these guys enough. The boat was full of every drink, snack, activity and essential item you could ever want. Our skipper was Ivor Zeman, and he could not have been better if he tried. His navigation and hospitality is top tier. He was so knowledgeable and open to everything we wanted to try. From the moment we got on he made sure everything was perfect, and would do anything to make sure our needs were met. He was able to handle plan changes, weather, and everything else while being so stress free and providing a relaxing experience every moment we were with him. His knowledge of the locations, foods and culture elevated our experience more than I ever thought possible. Rafaela Vidić was our firstmate/chef/culture and history expert. She kept the ship immaculately clean, no thanks to us haha. She was always so positive and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Her cooking was AMAZING, I consistently had the best food of the trip because of her cooking. Her ability to adapt with our wants and plans never ceased and she consistently exceeded every expectation I had for the trip. She was so sweet and happy to share experiences and recommendations all across the islands. Overall this trip far exceeded any of our expectations, completely due to how amazing the crew was. If you are considering this company, go for it and request this crew!

We had the most amazing trip!!! Our skipper Ivor Zeman and hostess Rafaela Vidic were so kind and wonderful and made our trip even better. Ivor had amazing recommendations for every city we visited and did a fabulous job helping us choose the best activities for each day depending on the weather. Rafaela was an amazing cook and made us feel so welcome on the boat and in Croatia. I cannot recommend taking a chartered trip with them enough and I hope to do another trip again very soon, and with Ivor and Rafaela if they’re available!

A fabulous week with an excellent skipper, Ivor, and hostess, Raffy. The boat was perfect for what we needed. Ivor planned an amazing itinerary including booking our restaurants. Emerald Gemini far exceeded our expectations. We were in the capable hands of Capt. Ivor Zeman who knew the most breathtaking sites to take us to. His knowledge of the area is unparalleled. The team of captain Ivor and chef Neno made for an unforgettable trip! Ivor expertly navigated the seas and brought my family and I to incredibly beautiful/ scenic islands and had great recommendations for restaurants when we would journey to them. Chef Neno cooked up some of the most delicious meals I’ve had to date and will definitely miss his culinary abilities! This trip had everything I could’ve asked for and I don’t think the caliber would be what it was without Ivor and Nemo! We spent a week with our grown children and significant others aboard the Adriatic Tiger traveling around the Croatian Islands in June 2024. The experience was beyond our expectations! Not only were the accommodations on the boat incredible, but the crew offered us an experience of a lifetime. We could not have asked for 3 better people to take care of us. Stipen (captain) was very aware of what we wanted out of the trip, and he instinctively made it happen. Evan (chef) provided the most delicious and fresh food for us every day...this was well above our expectations, and we were so grateful for him. And Nadja (hostess) was there for us at our every turn. We never wanted for anything the whole week. They were the best team ever, and we still miss them as they truly became part of our family! This was a 5 star trip experience, and a memory of a lifetime, thanks to the Adriatic crew. I cannot recommend it enough!

Grundsätzlich eine tolle Woche in Kroatien, nur leider wurde das Bild von diesem Vercharterer getrübt. Beim rasch abfertigten Check-in wurden wir vom Skipper noch darauf hingewiesen, sämtliche Schäden bildlich festzuhalten. Der Kat war jedoch eine reine Baustelle, somit wir versuchten alle offensichtlichen Schäden bildlich festzuhalten. Am ersten Morgen auf See stellte sich heraus, dass das Beiboot defekt war. Nach Meldung und langem Hin und Her mit dem Vercharterer, wurde uns nach zahlreich misslungenen Versuchen des Vercharterers das Dingi zu reparieren, für den letzten Tag ein neues Dingi angeboten, welches wir jedoch nicht in Anspruch genommen haben. Das wäre alles noch verkraftbar gewesen, jedoch wurden uns beim Check-Out nun ganz offensichtlich Schäden angehängt, um die beanstandeten Mängel mit dem Beiboot nicht "begleichen" zu müssen. Allen voran ein Loch im Netz, das wir glücklicherweise beim Auslaufen noch dokumentiert hatten. Darüber hinaus eine fehlerhafte Toilette, obwohl wir uns strikt daran gehalten, die Toilette nicht zweckzuentfremden, sowie ein Fehler am nicht verwendeten Panel der Klimaanlage. In Summe wurden uns dann 300 € in Rechnung gestellt, um uns sozusagen "entgegenzukommen", wegen der Komplikationen mit dem Beiboot. FAZIT: Finger weg von diesem Vercharterer.! Genau diese Aktionen sind es, welche den schlechten Ruf der Abzocke und Touristenfalle nach sich ziehen...sehr schade!

We sailed on the Adriatic tiger with Captain Stjepan, nadja and Ivan. The crew was wonderful and the boat was beautiful. We had delicious meals and excellent cocktails the entire trip. Captain took us to some beautiful local spots we wouldn’t have known about. I can’t recommend this crew enough. They were friendly and professional. We had a mix of kids and adults on board and they were great with the kids and their requests as well. We had an amazing week and weren’t ready to leave. Thank you so much for the perfect vacation!

One of the best vacation on “Adriatic Tiger” Professional crew, each one on right place. Worry free and most enjoyable trip we had. Service level on all we did, all places we visited on top. All my friends and I got grate experience. Lagoons, local restaurants and exploring new places was our goal. Personal thanks to captain Stjepan, chef Ivan and stuardess Naja!!!

Last week we had the best sailing experience ever!! Namasté of Bali with the most amazing crew, Josip and Luce!! Both of them very professional, caring and they make you feel at home from the first moment. One week of sailing, snorkeling, dancing and most of all a lot of laughs!! A week we will never forget and we certainly will be back next year. Thank you Adriatic Sailing for a beautiful super well maintained Catamaran, everything was just perfect from the beginning. But most of all a big shout out for Josip and Luce!!! Thank you🙏🏼❤️
