We used to go to Union Pub over the last couple of years regularly, but the quality of service has steadily declined. The quality of food was really good about 3 years ago, then it took a real dip and is now back to at least okay, if not anywhere close to where it used to be, before the owner change. But the most unpleasant thing is how bad the service has become. Last time we went my partner got his food about 30 minutes before I got mine (which was over 70 minutes after ordering...). We still go, but it is more because of nostalgia than actually because it is really good, which is really sad - the location is good, the drinks are good, but waiting for 20 minutes to order drinks is really not fun.

Vse je bilo okej! Praznovali smo rojstni dan od prijatelja. Praznoval je 23 rojstni dan in bili smo veseli, ker je plačal tudi 2 rundi čeprav je zategnjen gorenjc. Skratka šalo na stran - ambient 5, hrana 5, postrežba 5! 💪🏼

Good food but the meat was barely warm and it came without the three side sauces, even though the place was not busy at that time (around 4pm). No waiters were around for additional orders. Nevertheless the place is cozy with good choice of food and beer.

We came here in a rainy Saturday for lunch. There was a very few people seated, but one of the waiter was so nervous and in a hurry that literally trew things over the bar counter and our table (he spilled half of the dressing sauce without cleaning or replacing it). We were reading the dessert menus, which were open and placed on the table, when he passed and took them away from us, always with this unecessary anxiety. When we ordered the desserts, they were served after half an hour, when we were already about to pay. I would like to think that this waiter had a bad day, but I read the others old rewiews and maybe this bad service was not accidental. Despite this, I appreciated a lot the vegan selection in the menu, which is usually not that vast in the breweries; the burger my boyfriend tasted was also appreciated; the desserts were also very tasty. Needless to say, the beers were very good and cheap. If we return to the city, we will pass by again, hoping to find a better service!
