Ein Traum. Gutes, deftiges und lokales Essen. Genau das richtige nach den tausenden von Treppenstufen. Leider haben wir kein Zimmer mehr bekommen. Das Ambiente hätte noch zu einem gemütlichen Tresenabend eingeladen! Gute vegetarische Auswahl, wenn auch nicht gekennzeichnet. die Frage ist nicht, ob Michelin-tauglich, sondern wann die den Laden endlich mal abchecken.

Per il secondo anno siamo tornati a mangiare qui. È sempre un vero piacere, si mangia benissimo ed il personale è molto gentile, nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Ottimo il cibo!!!

DON'T eat here if you're a vegetarian!! I ordered pasta with a mushroom sauce and sure enough, they had used meat broth for the sauce, which was NOT good tasting. AND THERE WERE PIECES OF *BONE* in the sauce, both small fragments and large!! 🤮. This is what you can expect eating "vegetarian" in any restaurant in ex-Yugoslavia and this sorry place is certainly no exception. BEWARE!

Ci siamo fermati dopo la visita della gola di Tolmin. E siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti della qualitá del locale, del servizio ricevuto e della gentilezza del personale. I piatti sono verramente abbondanti e molto gustosi. La trotta alla griglia è super deliziosa.

Had a nice experience here. Was a little busy at midday and at the beginning we thought the service will be slow as we had to wait for a menu for a while,but the drinks and food itself arrived quite fast. Plates seem a bit on the pricey side but you do get a lot. We asked if we could get just some grilled veggies,as there was no vegan option anf ended up getting a huge plate of lovely grilled veggies and polenta. They counted that as a veg option to their grilled cheese and grilled veggies,which cost 12 euros so very pricey for a plate of veggies. Would be nice if they would add a nice basic protein source such as tofu or even simple beans,to make it a complete meal. That was the only thing I'd take a star off for. Otherwise very nice. We paid 31 euros for two plates and two beers.

Lijepo rustikano mjesto na ulazu Tolminskih korita. Jeli smo juhu od skute, strukle od heljde sa brusnicama, palacinke i krokete sa odreskom u umaku od gljiva. Hrana je bila pre ukusna, domaća i za korektu cijenu (uspoređujem sa hrvatskim primorjem). Konobarica je bila nezainteresirana i ostavljala je dojam da joj se bas i ne da biti na radnom mjestu. Wc se naplacuje, sto u jednu ruku razumijem jer je cirkulacija ljudi velika i dostupan je i ljudima koji nisu gosti lokala, ali mislim da se u tom slucaju treba naći alternativno rjesenje.

Ideaal om iets te drinken na een bezoek aan de tolmin kloof. Bediening is niet super, en je moet betalen voor het toilet. Wij namen een cola om te delen, aangezien dit enkel in 50cl kan. Ook namen wij pancakes met chocolade en pancakes met ijs en fruit. Lekker maar wel zwaar.

Nettes Gasthaus mit uriger Atmosphäre. Sie Rindssuppe und die Forelle sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Quarksuppe und der Lokale Käse mit Grillgemüse war nicht so mein Geschmack, aber das lag nicht an der Küche. Der Kellner war sehr zuvorkommend und sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben die Enttäuschung auszugleichen. Ich komme wieder und bestelle mir dann einfach etwas anderes (:

Right next to the entrance of Tolmin Gorge this small inn has a nice atmosphere suited for local surroundings. Ordered Cheese soup and grilled cheese with vegetables. Both dishes were made from local produce and were tasty and plentiful. The second part you should be aware of, since portions were big. You can see that in the photos for the restaurant. The only minus is Orange juice which seems to be something not too expensive off the store shelf. But it quenches thirst on a hot day ;)

We stayed 4 nights here and had the best time. It's a cozy room with AC (really nice in the summer). The food was good, vegans options are available. The hosts were super friendly and were there for every little question. Tolmin is a nice and a little bit more quiet place to stay and enjoy the beautiful landscape (hiking, SUP at Most na soci, Kayaking). Thanks a lot for the nice time.
