Big thanks to the owner and the staffs for the great experience. I got ditched last minute so ended up being there alone. Eventhough their policy is at least 2 people they made an exception and allowed me to experience their room! They were very welcoming & helpful and i ended up having a great time doing a solo game Dont expect them to always make exceptions though...they took pity on me seeing my passion for the game😁

S prijatelji smo bili prvič v sobi pobega in moram reči, da smo bili naravnost navdušeni. Obiskali smo Da Vinci - Sherlock sobo in zagotovo se bomo vrnili, da se preizkusimo še v Čudežni deželi. The Key je v centru mesta na prikupni lokaciji, osebje nas je zelo lepo sprejelo in vodilo skozi igro. Hvala Lari! Sobo priporočam vsem, ki si želijo malce popestriti vsakodnevno rutino.

Our child had a birthday party at The Key and its owner said that he would arrange (and reserve) a nearby caffe for the kids to celebrate once they are finished with The Key, because there is no room to do it at The Key and celebrating at another place is something standard and works well. We trusted the owner of The Key. However, although the 80 minutes at The Key went okay, the second part of our child's birthday celebration at the cafe Cielito Lindo was one of the most traumatic experiences ever in our lives. Their head waiter was incredibly rude and impolite, unhelpful and it appeared like he actually hated us being there and hated to see children having fun. In the end he managed to destroy our B'day party. When we called the owner of The Key to come and help us he said he could not for is away on a vacation. We ended up going back to the public area outside The Key and the kids ate birthday cake standing on their feet... Very traumatic experience. The owner of The Key eventually did say he was sorry, but did very little more than that. Never offered any compensation whatsoever. Just kept saying it was not his fault and that he got nothing to do with the caffe! But that is not true and it is not fair to say. For he was the one that booked us the caffe and if he were to say "sorry guys, The Key does not have the celebration food/beverage space for kids to party at" we would have never booked our B'day party there! Please be aware NOT TO BOOK kids' birthday parties at The Key because a) they do not offer the celebration space area and b) the one that they are currently using is at nearby caffe Cielito Lindo, which is NOT adequate for kids (this is for grown ups drinking alcohol!) and besides the waiters are terrible and hate kids. We were literally kicked out of the place... We hope that no one needs to experience this in the future so AVOID AT ALL COST

Firstly, I must admit that we're no Escape Room experts so this review is not based on the relative easiness/difficulty/accuracy/thrill of the puzzles. Our idea was to do something different during our stay in Ljubljana, have fun and that we fully did. There are two different rooms and 70 mins to escape! The game master was very friendly and helpful, and despite a number of clues when we didn't succeed in "escaping" within the stipulated time we were given some extra 10 mins. Give it a try if you're looking for some fun indoor activity in the beautiful Slovenian capital.

Zelo prijetna izkušnja! Počutili smo se kot pravi detektivi :) Zelo prijazno osebje. Vse pohvale za Sanjo, ki nas je sprejela in nam kasneje tudi pomagala z namigi :) Pridemo še kdaj!

Obiskali smo Da Vincijevo in Sherlockovo sobo. Sobi sta lepo urejeni in dobro zasnovani. Pobeg je bil kar izziv, ampak z ustreznimi in pravočasnimi namigi nam je uspelo priti ven :) Sanja, hvala za prijazno vodenje in dobre usmeritve.

Odlična zabava za družino z najstniki. Obiskali smo že obe sobi v Ljubljani in obe sta zanimivi in dober izziv. Z veseljem bomo poskusili pobegniti še iz Vilinčeve sobe na Bledu :) Priporočam obisk! Osebje je izjemno prijazno in profesionalno.

The game master acted like he was there on a punishment. He said maybe 10 sentences all together (but he manage to say 2 things: -that if we break anything we need to pay for it 😂 And that there are red stickers in the room that mark the "do not touch" object, but in some case, we can touch them ??). He didn't explain any rules and gave no introduction, we didn't know what was the purpose of the room, he just put us inside and closed the door. Some parts of the game are confusing because in the rooms, some objects with red stickers can be opened, touched, removed although it means "do not touch". Also, some numbers are used twice which is not the standard in escape rooms. There was no english translation for some things. When we found the last key we opened the door and the game master didn't come inside, we needed to come and get him 😂 And this is the first escape room where we needed to pay before playing. I wonder why.

War ein echt tolles Erlebnis. Haben beide Räume geräselt und gelöst. Gab es probleme, so wurden diese gleich behoben. Für's erste Mal und auf englisch war es perfekt. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt - Leider nicht Deutschsprachig...
