The church was built around 12th or 13th centrury. The wall around was built in 16th centrury for defence against Turkish invasions. I think the inner side of church was painted in 17th centrury. You will find out some more information when you visit that gorgeous place :)

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Church of Sv. Trojice in Hrastovlje, Slovenia, and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience. This hidden gem nestled in the heart of Slovenia offers a captivating blend of history, art, and spirituality that left me in awe. Upon entering the church, I was greeted by a very friendly and patient man who served as our guide. His extensive knowledge of the church's history and the stories behind its intricate artwork enriched my visit immensely. His warm hospitality made me feel welcome and well-informed throughout the tour. One of the standout features of this church is the wealth of wonderful images it houses. The interior is adorned with breathtaking artwork that tells a unique and thought-provoking story of life and death. The intricate depictions within the church are unlike anything I've seen before, and they provide a captivating insight into the cultural and artistic heritage of the region. What makes this visit even more enticing is the availability of an audio guide in multiple languages, which allows you to delve even deeper into the rich history and symbolism of the church with the simultaneous help by the guide. The reasonable admission fee of 5 euros is a small price to pay for the treasure trove of history and art you'll encounter within these walls.

Da sem končno le prispel v ta skoraj začaran lep kraj nedaleč od obale, blizu morja, kjer prebijajo prijazni ljudje. Cerkev je zares enkratna, vsi so snemali in slikali znotraj in tudi mene je vleklo, da se jim pridružim. Zdaj se kar bojim pokazati, nekaj kar je prepovedano, a slikal sem celo Mono Lizo v muzeju in se mi je po nesreči vključil fleš, pazniki so skočili, jaz sem se opravičil in bilo je vse dobro. Zdaj bom še malo pomislil, če dam enkratno važno zgodovino te cerkve in kraja. Zaenkrat pravim, da je zares čudovit ta kraj, imajo dva vrhunska gostišča, obiskal sem oba in res sta izredno dobra. Lahko jim samo čestitam in želim jim še veliko uspehov in prijaznih besed, z nami - z gosti in obiskovalci tega kraja in seveda tudi cerkve! Hvala Vama! 🤗🌿🧙😊🤗

Difficile à trouver mais elle vaut la peine de la chercher. Magnifique église fortifiée du XII ème siècle couverte de superbes fresques XV ème dont une danse macabre.

Las pinturas son extraordinarias, destacando la danza macabra. La señora es muy amable y te va indicando a qué pinturas corresponden las explicaciones de una grabación.

Beeindruckende Fresken und Gesamtanlage. Sehr gute Führung/ Erklärungen auf Deutsch vom Band, wobei auf die Einzelmotive je gezeigt wird. Nachfragen auf deutsch werden auch gut beantwortet.
