So I've sat with this for a while and thought about it carefully before posting this review. This review comes after giving Schweiger Dermatology a fair chance and extended time to address my concerns and at the very least attempt a remedy for the situation, but unfortunately, no action was taken. Despite bringing the issue to your attention, I was entirely ignored for several weeks. In April 2024 I called to change my appointment date at Schweiger. I asked to be transferred to someone in the office because I wanted to know when the doctor would be in office to facilitate scheduling. During the conversation, I explained why I wanted to see a dermatologist specifically, as opposed to being assigned to a nurse practitioner. I explained my medical preferences including my experiences with the doctor and the results I'd received, and even the cultural nuisances around why I preferred seeing a medical doctor. At some point during the conversation the person I was speaking with either thought I hung up or thought she had hung up on me. I tried getting her attention by saying hello more than half a dozen times, but she didn't seem to hear me. Meanwhile, I listened to her discuss my medical situation with her co-worker, berate me, and even telling her colleague 'can you believe the nerve of this woman, telling me she doesn't want to see [name of nurse practitioner]', along with a few other comments that I found very distasteful and unprofessional. I eventually hung up the phone and called back to let her know that I had heard the whole conversation and that I was very upset about it. In response she told me that she takes crap from patients all day and she is just tired of it. I responded by reminding her that I had never treated her poorly as a patient and even after what she did, am still treating her with respect. She merely doubled down to justify her lack of tact and professionalism. No apology. No accountability. Just a justification of her actions. I asked for my transfer of care forms and I received them minutes later, but after two attempts I've realized that I'm unable to see another health care practitioner until I complete my current treatment which is registered with Schweiger. I also reported the situation twice, and after almost two months, I haven't heard anything from them. My conclusion - they do not care, they do not respect patients, they do not have the level of professionalism required for an established business in this day and age, and the way I was treated, is indicative that the staff knows very well that treating patients with dignity and respect is not a requirement. I am sharing this because even today, many weeks later, I am still bothered by this experience which wasn't my first poor experience. Prior to this, it was a guarantee that my prescription would be either incorrect, delayed or simply not sent. After one visit, I was without medication for about three weeks and they just kept giving me the run around by transferring me to different locations whenever I managed to get them on the phone. I would not advise anybody to seek care at Schweiger - you would want better care and regard for you enemies.

Great dermatology practice. Dr. Nicole Minogue is super knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Had a persistent skin issue that bothered me for months even after getting something prescribed from my GP. I decided to visit Schweiger Dermatology Group for a consultation and 3 weeks later, the condition was nearly gone. Appointments are easy, facility is nice and clean, and office staff is helpful. Highly recommend!

This facility was very clean, waiting time was very limited. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Physician Assistant was very knowledgeable and gave me different options. Took care of my issue in one day and wasn’t like my last doctor who kept telling me come every two weeks. Very happy with my results. Highly recommend this location.

Love this beautiful place. Staff is professional and friendly. You are always seen on time so no more waiting at the doctor’s office. Brittany is the best! She has been taking care of mine and my daughter’s skin for a few years now and we couldn’t be happier. She is personable and sweet. I would recommend this place to family and friends. Book Brittany! Update: Brittany is no longer at this location but our new provider Catherine is equally as fantastic. She is professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Always a great experience.

Overall, a great experience. The front desk people were great and friendly. The offices, front and back were clean. And Dr. Porto was AWESOME! He was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, happy, and professional. Fantastic!

The receptionist staff is very courteous and efficient and Dr Sherman was amazing her bed side manner was excellent and she was very thorough and professional !!!
