I am very pleased with my first visit in this office! I got a next day appointment which was wonderful. Front desk was very nice and the Dr was phenomenal! I’ve had bad experiences at another office before and the Dr/assistant made me feel so comfortable and I didn’t feel rushed at all. She answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend Dr Browne!

Lauren Browne is the best! I started seeing her to get my moles check, but now see her for everything about my skin. I moved away for school and the harsher climate caused me to break out. She has been helping me reach my skin goals!

Schweiger Dermatology @55th and Park Avenue has been my go to for years. Everyone is fantastic from the front desk to the Docs and their assistants. I highly recommend Dr Tobak. And if you’re in the Ithaca area, I recommend Dr Jodi Grossfeld who was my dermatologist at Schweiger

A bit of a con-artist operation. I was given the out-of-pocket (not covered by your insurance) price for an initial visit with Dr Kream (who I would advise against—meet with her once and you’ll know exactly why!) —had to pay upfront, no problem, as I did and had my consult with said Dr. Dr Kream: Impatient and self-congratulatory, walked in and out as if reading her memorized lines from a teleprompter, making zero personal connection—at some point I thought, wow how hard is it for you to just look at the patient before you prior to delivering a routine spiel about creams and pricy follow up sessions. When I asked her about her prior experience with olive skin, she rolled her eyes let out a short condescending laugh and said “look, I’m a board certified dermatologist, ok?” [Alas, the other members of the cheerleading squat were not there to join in the laugh…] Later, I receive a bill for $25 in the mail. I call in to ask what it’s for—and they say oh it’s the remainder fee for that visit which had-to-be-paid-in-full-before-being-seen. Hidden fees much? Taking advantage of busy ppl who just don’t have the time to chase after another 25 bucks much? Hiding behind the guise of a medical establishment, billing helpless people one unwarranted charge at a time? Shameful really. The billing department rep says “ let me see what I can do, I’ll talk to the office, hopefully we can remove the charge from your account”…let’s see how many more phone calls and letters it will take…

Regrettably, my recent visit to this dermatologist's office did not meet my expectations. The receptionists' behavior was unprofessional and discourteous, which set a negative tone from the start. My experience with Dr. Jocelyn Gandelman was similarly disappointing, as her professionalism seemed lacking. I would stay away from this place and dermatologist.

My experience at this dermatologist's office was highly disappointing. The receptionists were incredibly unprofessional and rude, setting a negative tone from the start. However, the real disappointment came from my interaction with Dr. Jocelyn Gandelman herself. Not only did I find her to be unprofessional, but I also heard that she is not a competent dermatologist. Based on my experience and what I've heard, I strongly advise against seeking treatment from this establishment.
