Bought a rock door approx 31/2 years ago after 12 months it bubbled after a nightmare time it was changed 16 months on it happened again what a load of rubbish supposed to be the best doors I don't think so £1300 down the drain

Had 2 rock doors fitted front one rarely used as we use side one. After about a year colour faded at the bottom of front door, they accused us of cleaning with chemicals. We never had chemicals near it. In fact never even cleaned it. Would only replace if we paid for new door. Side door gets sun for most of the day and it's fine. Rip off.

Not only are you going to get the most superior product on the market at Rockdoor, but you are going to get the best customer service you could wish for. Poppy Windows Ltd supplied our Rockdoor and were amazing. We found ourselves in a desperate situation with regards to a front door just before Christmas, Chris at Rockdoor worked closely with Poppy Windows to go above and beyond for us. We now have the most beautiful front door knowing it is the most secure door out there. Thank you so much.

They don’t deserve a single star, they are without doubt the most incompetent company that I have ever dealt with, in hindsight I should not have believed their hype for their doors, unfortunately I have both a new front and back door, the front door arrived with one of their accredited installations partners, you can’t buy direct which isn’t a surprise, parts missing including the glass, unfortunately only discovered after removal of original door, would a piece of cardboard do instead of the glass I was asked, you can guess my response, then after a further couple of months delay they arrived again, following installation accessories ordered such as additional lock were not available! Regrettably I decided to order a new rear stable door from their reseller, this took over a year admittedly during a pandemic, finally arrived, wrong colour accessories so black handles with chrome locks, took all day to adjust doors for correct closure, few weeks later issues with front door not closing properly, on notifying installers they asked if I had an Allen key? Expecting me to adjust, guess my response, they came back and fiddled and asked if I had any WD40 they could spray on moving and contact areas? But it worked, following this some weeks later the rear stable bottom door would not close it just wouldn’t, called installers, do I have a Allen key I was asked? No you come and fix it please! It will be a couple of weeks I was told, I had to call out a different company who didn’t want to touch it as adjusting is apparently difficult, but came out and got it to close, continued to call original supplier, eventually came out spent hours fiddling and then the magic WD40 sprayed everywhere, this lasted a week and is now difficult to close and doesn’t seal so let’s in the cold air, heating costs on the rise and can’t get the company back out, forget warranty they are only as good as the company who support them, if I don’t get it fixed soon, I will be ordering new doors from a reputable company and seeking reimbursement from ROCKDOOR or what ever they call themselves now.

I had a rock door fitted I noticed there’s a major draught coming from the hinges or somewhere along there and apparently this is normal!also in the winter it’s hard to close the door and this is normal too!I should have kept the 25 year old upvc door!rock door customer service does not exist.

Our first door developed some small bubbles a few years after installation and to be honest we were tardy in doing anything about it. It wasn’t until the supplier visited our property for another reason and said “this is faulty , you should get it replaced under warranty,” that we took action. Less than two years later the replacement door (pictured) looks like this. Rockdoor won’t replace it because the warranty starts from the installation of the original door. So Door 1 became faulty probably after about four years, door 2 after less than two years. Not a spectacular track record. The warranty is also held by the installer so , although this isn’t an issue for us as our installer is still in business (but no longer fitting Rockdoor products), this could be an issue if your supplier goes out of business. We have declined the kind offer to buy another one from them ! I can see some positive reviews on here but wonder how they will stand the test of time. We were quite happy initially but the door is not fit for purpose and doesn’t stand the test of time.

DO NOT BUY A ROCKDOOR... Your old door will be less trouble!! I always read reviews, but very rarely leave them. But I feel I need to leave a review on Rockdoor. If you take notice of any reviews, please read all of these about Rockdoor and do not buy at Rockdoor at any costs. Firstly, yes these doors are solid and they look great, but the quality is so poor. Based on my experience, I believe there is an inherent fault with these doors which is down to the sun. We have 2 Rockdoors which were both installed November 2018. We always use the side door and rarely use the front door at all The front door warped and bubbled during summer 2019, which was replaced. Number 2 then bubbled and the skin and window separated, leaving a gap around the window of around 5mm. This was summer 2020 and within 12 months. Number 3 was fitted and we are now in the summer of 2021. This door has bubbled and the skin/window seperated in exactly the same place as the last door Incidentally, our front door is in full direct sun from lunchtime and is hot to touch in the summer. So far I have had 3 summers with a Rockdoor fitted. I have also had bubbling on 3 doors during the summer. I am convinced it is the sun The side door which is in constant use has no sun. We have no issues with this door Photos attached are from door number 2 and door number 3. The installers took photo's of door number 1, so unfortunately I do not have any. Both doors were less that 12 months old

Awful!! Nothing but problems from the start. Firstly we were locked out and ever since, someone's key constantly stops working! It now takes me about 4 attempts to access my property. AVOID!

Lead time on doors is terrible. Delivery date just been put back for the third time. If they deliver on the new date (which will be a miracle if they do). It will be 19 weeks lead time. If I had known this st the time I would not have purchased the door.

I'm on door 14 and it's splitting again avoid this company at all costs. And yes it's a rockdoor ultimate It's cost me thousands to keep getting it replaced I was promised a refund in full but that never happened

DO NOT GET A ROCKDOOR!!! we are on our 4th door because they kept warping like a banana, they are rubbish. Even our current door has bubbled and bowed. Rockdoor have now void my warranty because they sent one of their approved engineers out to fit our latest door and he fabricated some problems with the original install. There is nothing wrong with the original install. There APPROVED INSTALLER was an incompetent installer who I complained about his shoddy work. He melted the finished door surface drilling the lock and notched my brand new frame because he installed the lock at the wrong height. So i should also add draughty to the current list of problems with the door too. DO NOT GET A ROCKDOOR, GET ANYTHING ELSE, JUST NOT A ROCKDOOR.

Warped door, terrible quality and poor customer service. It was very expensive and is not a good quality product. The materials are poor and do not last. I had hoped they would take ownership of the fault but fobbed us off. Lesson learned - never buy any product from this manufacturer. Do not recommend and warn others.

The design is lovely and door itself looked great when it was fitted. We went with a local Rockdoor approved installer and to be honest I cannot and will not fault them at all. We had a Rockdoor Ultimate Newark, installed in 2017. Within 12 months we had some bubbles appear in the door, this was replaced, door 2 had the same issues, door 3 arrived bent and was rejected prior to installation, door 4 developed the same "bubbling issue". We are now on door number 5 installed in Feb 2020 which again has the same issue and are waiting on door 6 replacement (delayed due to COVID). For anyone interested our front door faces west so has the sun in the afternoons only. All of the doors had had the same issue - not impressed...it would have been easier to have gone with a bog standard uPVC for all the hassle we have had so far - 5 doors in 3 years! Madness I would not recommend buying one.

Went for the top of the line rockdoor ultimate. Within 6 months it was badly warped. Almost impossible to open without a lot or force. This inevitably led to keys breaking and bending. The hallway became cold and draughty. Rockdoor won’t deal directly with the customer. So you have to go to your installer who has just replaced the door panel but was refused a new frame by Rockdoor. £1500 the door cost me. The only benefit was it looked nice but who wants a door that you can’t open or let’s out heat in what is a A+++ rated energy efficient door. Laughable. Now having a problem with my replacement door that has now cracked. 12 August 2020. Can Rockdoor get in touch. That’s the second door that has now failed. Not interested in contacting the fitter as I don’t believe it his issue and more the door companies.
