Went first time and we loved the experience. Never really thought about technological differences (due to restrictions of not being in a room designed specifically for moving picture projections) between normal and drive-in cinema before. The solution for sound is VERY simple, yet so brilliant. They simply broadcast the sound of the movie on an unused radio frequency, and you picking it up as you would any other radio station. Better not have your antenna broken! Then using a bit more modern tech, they give you a simple menu with a QR code to scan at the entrance. It leads you to their menu website where you first give them some data about your car (plates, color, row) and your phone number (just in case) and then the menu. The menu feels more "american" but I supposed the whole thing falls into that category. Then they deliver your food via a skinny girl on roller blades, which is just smooth. Pro tip: Also if you're extra bothered by mosquitos you might want to prepare somehow in advance. It gets very hot very quick, so you need your windows down for at least a little bit for the whole time the movie lasts. If you like breathing fresh air that is. You may have found a purposeful net on ebay, but the simplest solution is to just have two big towels with you. After parking you open the front doors and put the upper long edge of the towel between them and the car before closing them, so only the edge part is inside the car, and the rest outside the window. Now you are free to roll them windows down entirely without letting insect inside. Also it offers a bit more privacy.
