Teško je izdvojiti što nas se više dojmilo. Očigledno je kako je sve jedna lijepa obiteljska priča, jer se to jako osjeća u gostoprimstvu. Hrana je savršena, vrlo obilna. Sobe su izuzetno tople i ugodne. Lokacija je top! Ukratko, raj na Zemlji. Djeca su bila oduševljena. Hvala i vidimo se sigurno opet!

Sob žal ne morem oceniti, ker jih nismo rezervirali, ocenim lahko restavracijo, kjer smo kosili. Izredno okusna domača hrana, lep ambient, zelo čisto. Tudi za natakarja vse pohvale.. umirjen in prijazen. Sigurno se vrnemo.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was impeccably clean and large with stunning views of the mountains. The homemade food was beyond wonderful with gigantic portions. That the food was grown on the farm was a plus. The valley was spectacular. We enjoyed hiking up the riverbed and exploring the farm. Miha, Nina and the family were generous with their time and sharing their knowledge. Super friendly, hospitable hosts. We will be back. Highly recommended!

In fact, we did not go although at first we reserved by phone a one-night stay. But when we asked them to confirm our telephone booking by e-mail they messed up the dates. We asked them about that in another telephone call and the lady on the phone said that she was wrong, so what and that if we don't like something, we don't have to come. You can imagine that we immediately cancelled our booking. After such rude attitude we did not expect any pleasant experience.

We were staying in the Logar Valley and had limited options for food during the off-season. We decided to come here for dinner and we're so glad that we did!! We had a 4 course meal (27 euro/person) and it was amazing! Soup and salad to start, followed by a mixed meats plate and other local delicacies, and dessert. The roasted chicken was the BEST we've ever had! It was flavored to perfection and the meat was falling off of the bone! The beef was also SUPER tender! The service was also great. Could not recommend enough! Come hungry because portions are large :)

Govc - Vršnik je nama najbolja kmetija u okolici Logarske doline. Izvrsni domaćini, uvijek tu a nikad nametljivi, jako vrijedna cijela obitelj. Domaća kuhinja sa ukusnom hranom i obilnim porcijama. Pravo mjesto za odmoriti dušu i tijelo.

Izjemna kmetija Govc v Robanovem kotu. Ob njej teče idilični potok Bela, kjer se pogumni lahko tudi ohladijo. Najbolj izjemna pa je gostinska ponudba, vrhunsko pripravljena hrana domače pridelave, ki te očara s harmonijo okusov. Posebna začimba pa so prijazni gostitelji. Priporočam in se še vrnemo. Hvala.

(English version below) Ich hatte hohe Erwartungen an diesen Gasthof aufgrund der Empfehlung unseres lokalen Gastgebers, der uns das Restaurant sehr ans Herz gelegt hatte. Leider wurde ich jedoch enttäuscht! Als wir ankamen und nach einer Reservierung für das Abendessen fragten, wurden wir unfreundlich empfangen. Ohne jegliche Erklärung erhielten wir lediglich ein schlichtes "Nein, ist nicht möglich" als Antwort. Dieses Verhalten steht in keinem Einklang mit dem, was ich bisher über slowenische Gastfreundschaft erfahren habe. Ich war von diesem Erlebnis sehr enttäuscht, da ich mich auf einen angenehmen Abend gefreut hatte. Es ist schade, dass die Gastfreundschaft und der Service nicht den Erwartungen entsprachen. Ich hoffe, dass dies ein Einzelfall war und andere Gäste eine positivere Erfahrung machen werden. Trotz meiner negativen Erfahrung möchte ich betonen, dass das Ambiente des Gasthofs ansprechend war. Vielleicht war dies nur ein bedauerlicher Vorfall, aber er hat den Gesamteindruck unserer Erfahrung beeinträchtigt. Ich hoffe, dass das Management des Gasthofs diese Bewertung als konstruktive Kritik annimmt und Maßnahmen ergreift, um sicherzustellen, dass zukünftige Gäste eine angenehmere Erfahrung machen können. Ich wünsche Ihnen alles Gute für die Zukunft. ________ I had high expectations for this guesthouse with a restaurant based on the recommendation of our local host, who spoke highly of the restaurant. However, I was disappointed! When we arrived and inquired about making a reservation for dinner, we were greeted unfriendlily. Without any explanation, we were simply told, "No, not possible." This behavior does not align with what I have come to understand as Slovenian hospitality. I was very dissatisfied with this experience, as I had been looking forward to a pleasant evening. It is regrettable that the hospitality and service did not meet expectations. I hope that this was an isolated incident and that other guests will have a more positive experience. Despite my negative experience, I would like to emphasize that the ambiance of the guesthouse was appealing. Perhaps this was just an unfortunate occurrence, but it significantly affected the overall impression of our experience. I hope that the management of the guesthouse takes this review as constructive criticism and takes measures to ensure that future guests have a more enjoyable experience. We stayed here and had a wonderful time. Robanov Kot is a beautiful, quiet valley with views from the farm to the mountains and easy access to nearby Solcava and the Logar Valley. Food was good, even as a vegetarian. If you eat meat then you'll likely have an even better time! All the dairy products and salads must come from the farm itself as they were super fresh.The portions were a bit too large so we never felt we could finish everything - I think that may just be the way in Slovenia! The room was clean and a little bigger than it looked in photos. It had a real shower with properly hot water every time. Don't expect the wifi to reach your room reliably, but that's not the point of staying in such a place, after all. Thanks to all the family for looking after us so well.
