A must when visiting Ljubljana. When can you eat a meal in the archer’s tower of a castle at a Michelin Star restaurant? The Michelin Star restaurant in Dubrovnik was closed, so we are glad we had reservations here. We brought my 8-year-old and she had the 5 course tasting menu. She LOVED it. Kids will do fine if they are well-behaved and adventurous. Thankfully, my daughter is both of those things and even ate the beef tartare. I did 7 courses with the wine pairing. The Slovenian wines were impressive, the service was exceptional, and the dishes inventive. We especially enjoyed the amuse bouches and dessert. Thank you for an incredible experience!

Did the 9 course tasting menu with the wine pairing. Literally the best meal and best dining experience I’ve ever had. Phenomenal food and wine and amazing service. Being in the castle during this meal is an amazing experience as well. Would tell anyone who goes to Ljubljana to do this as a must!!!

Restaurant Strelec truly impressed me. The dishes were beautifully presented, with innovative flavors and impeccable service. The atmosphere was elegant, and the staff attentive with a lot of knowledge. Set in a old castle above Ljubljana, the view adds a special touch. It’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had — a Michelin-starred gem!

Amazing restaurant! After reading the reviews on google my expectations were really high, but the restaurant really deserves it. The food is of highest quality and taste, you will really enjoy. In addition, the location is stunning and the service is on a very high standard. Highly recommend. After asking in advance it was also possible to bring a dog, I really appreciate that.

Not everyday do you eat at a Michelin Star restaurant. We wanted to try one while in town, and Strelec suited on the castle looked like a decent choice. The food was great. We had the 5 course meal along with the wine course, and it was great. We thought we wouldn't be full, but we totally were at the end.

Delicious food, professional service and an elegant, calm atmosphere. We picked the 7 course menu and it was more than enough with all the complimentary dishes before and after the set course, and we left full. We had let the restaurant know about our dietary restrictions when booking, and it was all taken into account and there were no issues. Every plate was unique and delicious with local flavours and influences. My favourite was the chef’s signature dish with the egg yolk (not pictured). It tasted refined and balanced yet rich. We didn’t do the wine pairing but the sommelier recommended two excellent wines and provided insightful explanations. I still remember the taste of one of my wines! We went on a Friday evening in the winter time and there was enough parking on the castle.

Amazing experience, you won’t regret going for the 9 course option - the dishes are perfectly balanced with subtle Slovenian influences and local ingredients. A bomb of flavours explode on your palette, with foams, sauces, crunches and glazed finishing touches making the experience extra special. Wine pairing stars Slovenian wines, exploring different grapes and ageing processes. Service is outstanding, we loved making conversation with the personnel. Long story short - it’s a must!

Restoran se ističe svojim izuzetno ukusnim jelima (degustacijski meni) i očaravajućim pogledom na grad budući je smješten u Ljubljanskom dvorcu. Doček osoblja bio je topao i srdačan, što je zaista očaravajuće. :) Jela su bila izvanredno prezentirana, a pažljivo odabrana vina savršeno su nadopunjavala svaki tanjur, stvarajući harmoniju okusa koja je ostavljala bez daha. Hrana je bila ne samo ukusna, već i lijepo aranžirana, što je dodatno poboljšalo cjelokupno iskustvo. Osoblje je bilo toplo, pristupačno i stručno, pružajući uslugu koja može poslužiti kao primjer kvalitete. Njihova predanost gostima i stručnost bili su zaista impresivni. I zbog svega toga svakako dolazimo ponovno. Bez ikakve sumnje, ovaj restoran zaslužuje najviše preporuke.

Un superbe moment dans un très bel endroit mais il faudrait juste et c'est une suggestion baisser quelque peu la musique. Les serveurs sont parfaits et ont largement contribué à ce très bon moment.

Sehr schön gelegenes Sterne Restaurant mit einer super Aussicht über Ljubljana. Das essen war hervorragend. Gemütliches Ambiente. Ich kann es definitiv weiterempfehlen.
