This castle restaurant is fantastic! The inside is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent. It's perfect for a special occasion.

Delicious food, professional service and an elegant, calm atmosphere. We picked the 7 course menu and it was more than enough with all the complimentary dishes before and after the set course, and we left full. We had let the restaurant know about our dietary restrictions when booking, and it was all taken into account and there were no issues. Every plate was unique and delicious with local flavours and influences. My favourite was the chef’s signature dish with the egg yolk (not pictured). It tasted refined and balanced yet rich. We didn’t do the wine pairing but the sommelier recommended two excellent wines and provided insightful explanations. I still remember the taste of one of my wines! We went on a Friday evening in the winter time and there was enough parking on the castle.

Amazing experience, you won’t regret going for the 9 course option - the dishes are perfectly balanced with subtle Slovenian influences and local ingredients. A bomb of flavours explode on your palette, with foams, sauces, crunches and glazed finishing touches making the experience extra special. Wine pairing stars Slovenian wines, exploring different grapes and ageing processes. Service is outstanding, we loved making conversation with the personnel. Long story short - it’s a must!

Restoran se ističe svojim izuzetno ukusnim jelima (degustacijski meni) i očaravajućim pogledom na grad budući je smješten u Ljubljanskom dvorcu. Doček osoblja bio je topao i srdačan, što je zaista očaravajuće. :) Jela su bila izvanredno prezentirana, a pažljivo odabrana vina savršeno su nadopunjavala svaki tanjur, stvarajući harmoniju okusa koja je ostavljala bez daha. Hrana je bila ne samo ukusna, već i lijepo aranžirana, što je dodatno poboljšalo cjelokupno iskustvo. Osoblje je bilo toplo, pristupačno i stručno, pružajući uslugu koja može poslužiti kao primjer kvalitete. Njihova predanost gostima i stručnost bili su zaista impresivni. I zbog svega toga svakako dolazimo ponovno. Bez ikakve sumnje, ovaj restoran zaslužuje najviše preporuke.

Eigentlich müsste man hier zumindest ein Mal im Monat dinieren. Ein echtes Erlebnis, auch weil das kompetente und sehr sympathische Personal jeden einzelnen Gang perfekt erklärt.

Sehr schön gelegenes Sterne Restaurant mit einer super Aussicht über Ljubljana. Das essen war hervorragend. Gemütliches Ambiente. Ich kann es definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Na tem mestu smo neskončno uživali. Vsi krožniki so bili dodelani do zadnje potankosti - sama prezentacija jedi, skrbno izbrane kombinacije sestavin, prepletajoče se barve in tekstura jedi ter posledična eksplozija okusov skupaj s skrbno izbranimi vini lokalnih pridelovalcev. Nikakor ni zanemarljivo, da se restavracija ponaša z Michelinovo zvezdico in štirimi kapami Gault&Milau, saj je tudi na nas naredila več kot odličen vtis, kjer nehote pod "ostrim očesom" ni bilo opaziti kančka sledi ali dvoma o kakršni koli napaki glede same izvedbe jedi, postrežbe ter nenazadnje znanju uslužnega osebja.

A tasting menu in the castle was one of my culinary favourites of all time. The setting in the tower of a castle is so unique and special. There wasn’t one course that I didn’t absolutely love. We went for 7 courses but I left wishing we had done 9! The wine pairing was also an amazing experience and complimented the meals so well, all locally sourced. The staff were so knowledgeable and friendly too! An unforgettable experience.
