Just returned from dinner with a friend. Extraordinary food. We had the four-course tasting menu. Can’t imagine eating any more. My main course was venison unlike any I’ve had before. Every course was a revelation of the chef’s skill. Would have paid triple the price in Boston or Philadelphia. Do not care to estimate the cost in Manhattan. Am returning to LJ next year. Definitely will come here again. Also note that service was excellent.

This is the most excellent place to eat in Ljubljana. It’s a bit pricey, but if you compare the same level of service around the world, it’s not too expensive. The view from the castle is amazing, the tastes cannot compare - this restaurant should have all the stars. Will be back when I visit hometown :)
