It needs better signage to find it in the castle. The food was ok and the service was ok. This was our 3rd michilin star restaurant on our trip and we didn't feel we got enough input from the staff or that the food was well thought out. I would try again it could have been a off night

A truly wonderful meal and experience in a very special setting. Delicious food, flawless service, and spectacular views. Only thing to be aware of is that if you are dining in autumn/winter, the funicular up and down to the castle stops running at 7pm. We dined at the first service at 5pm and still missed the last one down. If you're going to walk down, wear comfortable shoes and ensure you have enough phone battery to use as a torch!

We had a great time! Very good food and a nice selection of wines. Service was flawless and kind. Restaurant is located inside a tower of lubiana castle. Only (small) downside we shared the dinner with a numerous and noisy 15 people table. 10/10 michelin experience

Abbastanza deludente. Abbiamo optato per il menù degustazione di 5 portate e abbinamento di vini. I piatti erano davvero difficili da apprezzare e non per la loro complessità o mancanza di "palato" da parte nostra, nessun piatto aveva un sapore particolare e gli ingredienti non si distinguevano rendendo le portate davvero piatte al gusto. Mi aspettavo decisamente di più e non un classico uovo e tartufo. La terrazza è molto carina, seppur la vista di Lubiana non sia particolarmente bella da quella prospettiva, inoltre si cena con uno sciame di turisti chiassosi a pochi passi dai tavoli. La cosa che più mi ha lasciato perplessa è che per andare in bagno bisogna prendere l'ascensore, peccato che sembri quello della metro in quanto ed estetica. Ho preferito quindi prendere le scale, due piani a piedi ma per lo meno non mi sembrava di scendere al parcheggio del centro commerciale.

The atmosphere is precisely as one would expect from a prestigious dining place. The service is impecable and the food is absolutely delicious. We also had the wine pairing which was worth it 100% because the food tasted so much better with the selected wines !

Strelec was fantastic! Although it’s hard to find at night, the dinner was delicious and was a fantastic experience in the castle’s archer tower.

Just wow! This restaurant absolutely deserves its Michelin star! A pure pleasure both in terms of taste and appearance. The wines were excellently tailored to the dishes and the somellier knew every little detail about the wines and wineries. Price performance ratio fabulous. thank you for this great evening! Outstanding performance! Einfach wow! Dieses Restaurant hat seinen Michelin-Stern absolut verdient! Sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch ein purer Genuss. Die Weine waren hervorragend auf die Gerichte abgestimmt und der Somellier wusste bis ins kleinste Detail über die Weine und Weingüter Bescheid. Preisleistungsverhältnis fabelhaft. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Abend! Außergewöhnliche Darbietung!

Definitely come to Strelec if you want a elevated dining with fresh ingredients that is not too experimental for your tastebuds to understand 😂 great location and service too!
