It is a wonderful restaurant with a very attentive staff, who even described the individual courses to us in German. The food is fantastic, the view from up there impressive. Overall, a very wonderful evening that the team of the restaurant has prepared for us!

Best. Evening. Ever. My wife and I really like to go out for dinner, sometimes also to more fancy restaurants. But what we experienced at Strelec was the best ever. From the food to the wine and services, everything was more than perfect. Mattei, thank you so much for the wonderful evening, we will definately come back!

The food was so good it made me cry. Level of details in taste is exceptional. They do not offer a la carte dishes but you may choose from 5-9 courses. They are also flexible regarding food restrictions and have vegetarian options. Strelec is indeed one of the best (if not the best) high-end fine dining restaurants in Slovenia.

It was an excellent food experience. I am not big fan of the fancy restaurants, but in the Strelec I was completely satisfied. The restaurant is located inside the castle, in one towers, on the very upper floor. Interiors are great. Also the toilet, which is on the floor -1, is pretty unique. All the waitors were extremely polite and kind. I had not to even refill my water by myself. And they all have to repeat the same description of each dish to every client every time, billion times a day, with smile on their faces. I suppose I could not handle such a job. And, finally, the dishes. I had five courses degustation menu. But I have got seven or even eight. Everything was something new for me, all of dishes were tasty. And I thought before the visit, that I will not be well-fed because of portion sizes and fancyness. But I was mistaken. The timing is so precise, so you will be full at the end. So come hungry. In spite of high (in my opinion) price for a dinner, I can recommend this place to all people who want to have an unique restaurant experience.

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant welches den Stern definitiv verdient hat. Wir hatten das neun Gänge Menü und waren absolut zufrieden. Die einzelnen Gänge wahren nicht durch zu viele Zutaten überfrachtet sondern perfekt zusammengestellt. Die Weinbegleitung war perfekt auf die jeweiligen Gänge abgestimmt. Der Service war super. Besonders gut hat mir gefallen, dass die Mitarbeiter auch Humor hatten. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Restaurant absolut empfehlen.

Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday, wanting something extra special which is exactly what we got. The setting, atop the castle in the Archer’s Tower felt magical with a view over Ljubljana. We went for the 5 course menu (although ended up getting a couple of amuse-bouche courses for no extra cost), which consisted of inventive dishes with unique but very complementary flavours. The venison main was deliciously tender and a highlight for me was the onion gnocchi in beer foam. All beautifully prepared, with efficient and friendly service. The chef even came over to wish my friend a happy birthday which was a lovely touch. We paid €125 each (inc tip), which I consider pretty good value for a Michelin star, especially given the location and that we enjoyed genuinely tasty and filling food with wine pairings for each course.

Brez pripombe, vse od pozdrava ob vstopu do odhoda. Izjemni okusi hrane so odlično kombinirani s prefinjeno selekcijo vin. Vse skupaj pa zelo lepo kompletira osebje, ki zelo jasno in nemoteče v nekaj stavkih pojasni, zraven pa še kaj novega nauči. Cena je primerna doživetju. Toplo priporočam obisk!

Esperienza culinaria veramente stellata. Tutto meravigliosamente top. È un percorso di sapori, sensazioni olfattive, alternanza di consistenze, sorprendenti meraviglie visive. Sapori decisamente indiscutibili e senza paragoni. La location è all'interno di un castello, si arriva alla sala tramite una particolare scala a chiocciola oppure dal loro ascensore privato. Salone molto accogliente e dall'atmosfera intima. Arredamento molto curato ed elegante accompagnato da una mise en place molto raffinata . Accoglienza impeccabile e servizio all'altezza delle aspettative. La descrizione dei piatti è molto accurata, fa apprezzare ancora di più la portata. Il personale di sala è molto preparato ed educato, a momenti sanno essere anche molto simpatici. Ho molto apprezzato l'uscita dello chef per accompagnare l'ultima portata al nostro tavolo. I miei complimenti a questa location e a tutto lo staff. Mi sento di sfatare il detto che dai ristoranti stellati ci si alza da tavola con la fame; assolutamente no, anzi, è decisamente il contrario.
