This place offers 5, 7 or 9 courses meals, which usually include some extras chief's greetings and goodbye course. This is a place where you come to enjoy the world's best food. The price could be eye-watering but it is worth every cent considering the offer. Visiting this place could be life changing experience. You view on what's good food will be changed for ever

Gute Küche, hervorragende Weinauswahl. Es gibt eine Terrasse, aber auch drinnen hat man (an den Fenstertischen) einen fantastischen Blick. Das 4-Gänge-Menu für etwas unter 50€ p.P. ist mit Grüßen aus der Küche eher ein 6-Gänge-Menu; man kann es als "surprise menu" nehmen oder aus der Karte auswählen. Leider hat man uns den Katzentisch und einzigen Tisch gegeben, der wirklich gar keinen Blick hatte, obwohl ein anderer frei war und wir vorher sogar um einen mit Ausblick gebeten haben. Auf weitere Nachfrage meinte der Kellner aber, dass die Gäste von draußen sicher aufgrund des einsetzenden Regens reinkommen würden und er uns den Tisch deshalb nicht geben könnte. Einerseits kamen die anderen Gäste nicht rein, andererseits habe ich auch nicht verstanden warum wir mit einer Reservierung für drinnen das Nachsehen haben mussten. Der Keller kam auch etwas arrogant rüber; wir hatten das Gefühl (zumindest zu Anfang) nicht ganz "für voll" genommen zu werden (wohl aufgrund unseres Alters - Anfang 30. Getreu nach dem Motto: "Die geben sicher nicht so viel aus" - finde solch eine Einstellung eher weniger professionell). Das trübt natürlich den Abend - hier besteht Verbesserungspotential.

Obiskal ze nekaj restavracij z degustacijskimi meniji, ampak je tale vec nivojev nad ostalimi. Hrana vrhunska, postrezba in razlage hrane pa fenomenalna. Dodaten plus tudi temu da je chef osebno prinesel zadnjo sladico in jo predstavil.

Wir empfanden den Besuch dieses Lokals als großartiges Erlebnis und würdevollen Abschluss eines schönen Tages in Ljubljana. Das Essen war unglaublich gut (wo Gault Millau - 4! Hauben - und Michelin drauf steht, darf nichts anderes erwartet werden). Die Location im Turm der Burg spricht ebenfalls für sich. Klein aber äußerst fein, mit wenigen Tischen ausgestattet, kann hier ein toller Abend verbracht werden. Der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns für das Degustationsmenü entschieden. (5, 7 oder 9 Gänge) bei jedem Gang sowie den Grüßen aus der Küche, wurde uns nahezu jede Zutat erklärt. Die Weinauswahl legten wir gemeinsam mit unserem Kellner fest und wurden dabei nicht enttäuscht. Ich weiß nicht wie gerne es gehen ist, hier Preise zu nennen, da sich diese doch schnell ändern können. Es sei jedoch gesagt, dass wir auch hier mehr als positiv überrascht waren. Eine klare Empfehlung ohne wenn und aber.

Gutes Restaurant mit exklusiver Anzahl an Tischen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, jedoch für mich nicht immer zu 100 Prozent aufeinander abgestimmt. Alles in allem eine gute Adresse um gehobene Küche zu erleben.

A lovely ambience but you will most likely come again for the food. All plates and tastes are very well thought out and also mirror the season - in our case autumn, so tastes like beetroot, chestnut and pear were a constant. We decided to only try two wines and that can be difficult when you want to pair them with multiple dishes. However the waiter's recommendations were spot on. Overall a delightful experience.
