Im Grunde eine freundliche Bewirtung. Eine kleine Warnung jedoch, wenn du da umweltfreundlich übernachten möchtest: Ich kenne es von allen anderen Hütten, dass Hüttenschlafsäcke verpflichtend sind. Hier ist es andersrum: Hüttenschlafsäcke sind eigenartigerweise verboten! Du musst Bettzeug verwenden. Das erfuhr ich allerdings nicht auf der Homepage, sondern erst per Email als ich schon unterwegs war. Für 5.- musst du dann vor Ort ein "Bettzeug" kaufen: Ein kunstfasriges Einwegbettzeug in Plastik verpackt, auf dem es sich nicht gerade gut schläft.

Zelo lepa, ne preveč zahtevna pot. Dožina poti je odvisna od štartne točke. Tokrat sva štartala pri spomeniku umrlih v 2. sv. vojni. 50 minut. Občasno ni najbolje označena pot. Lokacija je odlična za osvajanje dvatisočakov. Sva bila med tednom. Gneče ni bilo. So se nama pa cene v koči zdele malo previsoke. Oskrbnik prijazen.

Really enjoyed my stay in this hut, i had just come down the mountain and was exhausted! I ate a delicious burger and slept in a comfortable bed. The couple that owns the hut is very friendly and helpful, the eating space is cozy and i had my best conversations here, even made some mountaining friends :) Thanks for having me and good luck with the summer season!

The prices here are so outrageous!! it's borderline theft. We were charged €11.30 for two small cans of beer (the next day we bought the same beers in town for €2.20). The location is scenic, but next time I'll sit outside and eat my own sandwiches. Don't you hate it when the local greediness ruins a good hike?

I guess this place is really an ‘either you like it a lot or don’t like it at all’-kinda place! We arrived here after a full day of hiking, and after having spent two nights in a more luxurious hut (which was more like a hotel), I have to admit we were lucky we were informed that there would be no shower (or else we’d be terribly disappointed). We were welcomed by André and his wife, who are incredibly hospitable and they did not only give us the best barley stew, cabbage soup and beans soup one has ever tasted, but also provided us with all kinds of tips and information about the region. The fact that the hut is packed with bunk beds you need a sleeping liner for, there’s no possibility to take a shower and there is no Wifi made the whole experience feel all the more authentic to us. But this really depends on what you’re looking for of course. The stay is not a cheap one (consider you’re all the way up the mountain and there’s only an ATV André takes up and down the mountain himself), but the friendliness of the hosts (ánd the smell of freshly baked bread in the morning) make up for it big time. We were also lucky to arrive here before the peak season (end of May): I can imagine sleeping here is a lot less comfortable with 50+ sweaty alpinists snoring next to you, which you have an increased chance at during summer. Thank you André and your lovely wife, we had a blast!
