Mountain cottage Kališče (1534 m) offers beautiful views of Storžič (2132 m). The cottage has a very good position for different hikes. Unfortunately, it is in dire need of thorough repair. Planinsko društvo Kranj, start working on getting the money (European founds, etc.), to restore the glory of this cottage.

The hosts were very wellcoming, good food, planty of drinks, fireplace running, accomodation very cozy, good music and atmosfere. Will definetely come back to enjoy mont Storžić from Kališče again. Racommended

Koča potrebna kake bolj resne obnove. Lokacija idealna za pohodnike, gornike, tekače... Ponudba hrane odvisna od oskrbnika (bi bila lahko bolj raznolika...). Primerno za vse generacije (različna izhodišča in pristopi). edit: Danes 12.5.2025 pa obupno (prosto po prešernu ~ nič postrežbe ali oskrbnikove iniciative, planinskega pozdrava, res grozno...). Zelo slaba izkušnja, ki bi se morala obvezno popraviti. Pir pa sem spil doma, če ni iniciative.

So and so hut. A little cold. Stayed one night alone. Room is not so and so. Food was ok. Maybe yiu have to regulate better pricing...very expensive for what and where it is... at least the view was nice...

Wonderful atmosphere, nice and friendly service with local Slovenian dishes. Only downside is that the food is a bit expensive, while one would expect higher prices on a mountaintop, 10 Eur for cabbage soup with a sausage seem a bit unrealistic
