What a great hut! It is so calm, and everything felt so clean. You can buy internet, and showers with hot water. The food was very nice (by hut standards), the breakfast was a small table with a lot of choice, including tea, coffee. Maybe only slight downside is that they didn't sell any snacks, but maybe we were just at a time when they ran out. There is unlimited and free drinkable water everywhere. The rooms we had were bunkbeds, not super large but just enough space. They provide you with one-time paper bed sheets, and the pillow can be fully put into the bed sheet which is very nice. The staff spoke great english and was so helpful. It is not super crowded, so it makes it feel like an excellent stay. The owners even started a fire in the hearth to help clothes dry inside. Big recommend, awesome hut and a great experience.

Super hrana in prijazno osebje. Veliko prostora in dobra ponudba. Edino,kar bi pripomnila,vem da ni vas oslicek,vendar bodo mogoče kaj storili glede NUJNO potrebne oskrbe spodzrezanja njegovih kopit lastniki,če bodo videli še sliko.

5 euro charge for internet that doesn’t work anywhere except at the front desk. When I pointed this out the person at the desk was extremely rude and refused a refund

Die Sauerkrautsuppe war mega lecker und man konnte sogar mit Karte zahlen. Schön, dass es diese Einkehrmöglichkeit gibt auf der nicht ganz einfachen Wanderung von Lepena zum Krn See! ☺️

Prijazen in zabaven skrbnik prav tako bi pohvalil kuharico Majdo za odlično hrano in prijazno postrežbo zmaga pa ga jabolčni zavitek. Sobe lepo urejene prav tako sanitarije. Bili smo zelo zadovoljni defenitivno se še vrnemo.

S partnerko sva si vzela več ur za easy, sproščen izlet iz Lepene do jezera. K domu sva prišla sestradana!! A hitro se je trud poplačal. Prijazno osebje, okusna hrana in jezero kot pika na i. Jabolčni zavitek je bil top!

Today I visited this peaceful place again after 3 years and what a progress on the food quality. Small list of food but what was served was really VERY good. Would recommend to visit them. But, first go to lake and then go to them and enjoy their hospitality.

Due to unforeseen staffing issues the hut was closed when I arrived, very tired after continuing on my mountain trail journey. The manager Mikhael went out of his way to help me, I was able to shower, stay and eat even though he wasn’t technically open. I’ve enjoyed hearing different stories about what happened at this hut from various Slovenians I have met on the trail. But Mikhael was great, he went over and above, and he introduced me to the lovely Slovenian blueberry liquor!

We booked 5 different huts - this one was the last to respond. Two months after confirmation and just 1 week before the trek they informed us they are closing in July and will not host us at all. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
