Ričet znajo narediti. Oskrbnik je prijazen. Kaj vec sploh pričakovati od planinske koce?? Pa se domač kruh ponudijo.

Mean and liars. First, they told us they have double room, then when paying they showed us a price that didn't match with the online price we saw and when asked, they told us all the double room are booked. We checked online, and it turned out they had double room, and when asked, they told us the season had ended and all the double rooms were locked, proceeded by "do you want to sleep here or not?!" knowing it's raining outside and the next available hut is in 2h. Later, it turned out there were people sleeping in double rooms, probably booked online. The beds they gave us were next to 16 other beds with no space between them. In terms of food, there was not much option other than processed food full of cholesterol. This was surprising, especially because during our tour in Slovenia, everyone was very nice.

This hut has been recently modernised and is very comfortable. All rooms have a USB socket to use that no cost. The private bedrooms were comfortable and clean. There is ample toilet and sink availability. drinking water is also provided outside which unfortunately ran out after a lot of arrivals refilled their water bottles. There is a shower providing hot water for a 10€ fee but this seem to fail regularly. The owner did not seem to be too concerned continuing to accept payment. Comments have been made about the attitude of the staff who run the hut and I have to agree. A real shame as it is a great location and a great facility.

Vodnikov dom si zasluži pohvalo za dobro hrano, čistočo in gostoljubnost. Prespali smo dve noči, bilo nas je devet. Koča je bila polna. Hvaležni za take srčne oskrbnike.

This was one of our favourite huts during our trek - there is delicious free running water, a great view and lovely Lola the dog! Staff were nice and the beds were comfy. The food was one of the best we had during our trek - especially the barley stew with meat.

My husband and I have been to nine mountain huts during our time in Slovenia, and we’ve generally had very good experiences— except for this one unfortunately. The owner is incredibly rude/disrespectful and mocked us while we were checking in. The “rules” for check-in, dinner time, and everything else seem to be arbitrary depending on what mood the owner is in. It’s also clear that his mood permeates the entire premise— all guests were quiet and on edge, which was in stark contrast to the atmosphere in every other hut we visited. There are numerous other huts within walking distance that I would highly recommend over this. We later met a Slovenian hiking guide who made it clear that this hut has a very negative reputation driven by the owner. I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but I felt strongly based on the way we and other guests were treated while we were there.

Jedan od boljih domova na lokacijama iznad 1500 mnv. Lokacija izvrsna, vode ima u izobilju, dostupan je i topli tuš uz nadoplatu. Sobe nove i čiste, kreveti udobni, od posteljine imate sve osim plahte. Za večeru se nude na izbor 4-5 jela, a doručak je bio pravo iznenađenje-švedski stol s iznimno bogatom ponudom hrane. Ovdje, za razliku od većine domova u Sloveniji, zbilja nismo ostali gladni!!! Jedina mala zamjerka-pretoplo pivo, jer ga ne drže u frižideru, nego u vodi van kuće. Uglavnom, svakako bi se ponovo vratila!!!!

Buen refugio, personal amable, camas cómodas y habitaciones limpias, baños funcionales y limpios. Fuente de agua potable! Lo único más flojo fue el menú de media pensión (cena y desayuno). Escaso y poco a elegir, la comida no estaba muy sabrosa, pero es un refugio al cual volvería por su ambiente, las instalaciones y tener agua potable y poder cargar los móviles de forma gratuita.

Beautiful location, but service and food could be better. Positives: - Beautiful location and amazing view. - Tap with free drinking water just outside the hut. - It's possible to have a shower (but it's 5 euros for 4 min alternating ice cold -> very hot -> ice cold water). - There's phone reception at this hut (no wifi ;)). - You can charge your electronics in the dinner room, there are ca. 10 USB ports and 10 USB-C ports, and some power sockets. Negatives: - You're not allowed into the bedrooms until after 17:00h. - The doors of the downstairs toilets (the only ones available before 17:00h) cannot be locked. - Our room was the attic, which had 20 matrasses on the floor as beds. - Dinner portions are small, food quality is low (I had plain spaghetti with some cheese on top). - Bread for breakfast was old. - The lunch sandwich that we could buy for 8 euros consisted of 2 slices of white bread with ham, cheese an cucumber. Not enough for a day of hiking. - The bed linen that you can buy are basically plastic. Better to bring your own even with the extra weight in your backpack!

Great accommodation for hikes around Triglav. The biggest advantage for this locality is available water so you can take even shower.

Sweeping views across the valley and mountains. Nice rooms and free drinking water (refill your bottle in the evening as it may run out in the morning). 4 minute hot shower costs 5€. Credit cards are accepted and the food is quite decent.
