Nice cable car, but we used the cable car only to get back down after a 2 day hike and we paid 49 euro for a single ride for 2 person and a dog. I understand this is the price for a day pass that also includes the chair lifts in the ski area, but there should be a cheaper price for hikers like us who only need to use it once.

Cable car, then chair car and then again gondola rides are amazing highlights of Vogel point. If you are in Bohinj, you should not miss it. The chair car ride overseeing Julian alps was incredible. There are plenty of trekking sites in mountain. Plus do not miss Vogel view point. Please mindful of timings - Chair car operate till 4pm and gondola till 3pm. Main cable car operates every 30 mins. Highly recommended.
